Unless she used some paste and a plug made from rubber tree to patch up the hole in the rowboat.

But are there any rubber trees on Flotsam Island other than the mast of the Narwhal? Besides, she seemed to be having trouble rowing against the wind before the Marquis reversed it.

I got some questions, probably silly ones:

1-Is Winslow (and other pirates) cured form the pox, although being out of the Floatsam winds reach?

2-The monkey in the Morgan scene did have not a metal-magnetic tail! http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=219068#post219068

Prettymuch everywhere is within reach of Flotsam's winds now that they are blowing out. So, yes, Winslow is cured!

How spoilery on a scale of 1-10?

I think the worst of it is that it gives a vague mention of how Guybrush and Morgan are going to start off the next chapter. I'd say maybe a 3, but then I don't mind spoilers so much.

Maybe she fixed the boat some other way and rowed out to the Narwhal after the winds had been reversed (when La Espoja Grande was put in it).

If it were as simple as that, Telltale would've shown the hand getting the pox removed. I suspect that somehow the hand will retain the Pox. Somehow, I think it will have somehow gotten sheltered from the sponge's effect.

    Kevin

That's probably why it ran away just after it killed DeSinge.

I don't know how too rate the "spoileriness" of this or just anything, but if you asked this, then i guess you'd better not click those links.
Nothing is too precise, but there's quite a lot of stuff about what's going to happen in Chap. 5.

Erm...are the winds blowing out? I only remember them briefly blowing out to vaporize things, but I was fairly certain they were left blowing in and that's why the sponge was able to soak up the voodoo. Besides, the sponge would've been blown out of the idol if they were blowing out.

I Heard somewhere, that chapter 5 will take place in the pirate underworld, the land of the dead. This would provide a link to Monkey Island, given that there is a portal to Hell there.

Ah, what a prediction! I thought this mgiht've been a possibility and now I'm stoked to hear that it's true!

Unless it got wedged in there really good and it was impossible to blow out.

I think it was blowing out, the sponge has pores and the air was able to pass through.

Yeah, but if it was blowing out, the sponge never would've cleared the winds and made it into the idol, and I don't remember the winds being changed after that I just remembered Guybrush's hand reversing the winds to create the "belch", though if it worked like when the Marquis vaporized the parrot, it would've been a momentary reversal. Don't remember if the Marquis had to hit the piano a second time to manually make it suck again. Besides, without the winds drawing the pox to the island, why would the sponge be absorbing it? The sponge works by sucking up the voodoo, not by projecting anti-voodoo or something.

Interesting question: What happens if a poxed pirate drinks root beer? Or do they just all suddenly hate root beer the way they crave slaw?

I bet the poxed pirates really like root-beer. Why else would Gubrush always manage to get so close to Lechuck. LeChuck lovers root beer even more than he lovea coleslaw.

How the heck did the pyrite parrot manage to be in good shape again?

Rule of funny. It just has to keep showing up to torment Guybrush.

The Vacaylian King, er, Queen, er, Ruler gave it back to Guybrush at the end of episode 2. Somehow he/she/shle managed to reform it to its original form.

Then Guybrush lost it when the Screaming Narwhal was swallowed by the Manatee. It must have washed up on Flotsam Island and been found by DeSinge.

What better way to test his machine than by destroying something that *says* it's Guybrush Threepwood, Mighty Pirate? Somewhat satisfying for the Marquis, I'd imagine.

I love that parrot, it was so funny in Eps 1 & 2, I wish we could have had it during Ep 3 (even if it wasn't used in any puzzles).

Yup, except there was no grog on it this time.
