I'm...not entirely certain what I'm seeing here. But it definitely disturbs me. And what disturbs me even further is that your art is so good that I actually like the image.

Let's have them cosplay each other then. And avoiding crossplay, I guess.
Or, ooO, I know, have them switch personalities/minds, and you need to draw them in such a way that we know who's "inside" whom.
I did not draw this, but I am a terrible, TERRIBLE influence.
i know it sounds bad, but Elaine looks kinda sexy in that sketch, why cant she look that sexy in the game, no wonder Morgan was more of sex icon for guys lol

Cute!. . .but what's so disturbing about it is that I just know that somewhere there's a bunch of furries jerking off to it.
Don't believe everything they say about us... seriously.
I still wonder why being a furry (a non-sexual fandom) is totally "bad", while it's totally okay to love yaoi (which is a totally sexual fandom). To me, that seems a lot more disturbing...
I know that the furry subculture isn't supposed to be sexual, but I think the thing that bothers me is those who draw super sexualized versions of childhood cartoon characters. But that's not just for furries, and even the ones who are don't represent the subculture, and even further above that, its just my personal taste.
And although I'm somewhat indifferent about yaoi, I think that the reason why its more socially excepted is because its between humans. And I feel that most people who say they're into yaoi are actually more shonen-ai, but I have no idea as I'm really not interested.
I'll never understand why the second anthropomorphic characters got the name "Furry" (which you'll admit is easier to use in everyday conversation) it went from "most of Disney movies, comics and cartoons" to "OMG that's so perverted".
I also don't get why it would be more disturbing to think of Lola Bunny as attractive than Marge Simpson, when Lola Bunny looks more like a human anyways.
I took that argument from Dan Shive, because I can't be bothered to look for other famous cartoon characters, but the point still stands that if someone sees a totally humanised non-human animal and says something like "she's cute" or "she's hot", people will go "oooh, you pervert!" while you take a human cartoon characters who looks nothing human, be it in proportions, colours or features, and it's totally acceptable to say "she's cute" or "she's hot".
Makes no sense to me.
I also don't get why it's been so sexualised. It's as sexual as anything else on the Internet. You don't hear people go around saying "Ugh, these Monkey Island fans are so disgusting!" yet there is probably the same proportion of perverts, and porn fanart isn't hard to find.
So, since we're on the subject, why don't we draw the whole cast as furries or, since it's more politically correct, "anthropomorphic animals"?

All I've ever seen of the furry fandom (and I've seen a lot) has been nothing but sexual and the really disturbingly perverse kind of sexual.
But yeah, the main thing that's disturbing about it to me is the fact that it's animals, whereas in yaoi or regular guy-on-guy, etc, it's not only humans but consenting adult humans.
Furry-ism edges just a little too close to bestiality for me to feel comfortable about it---I'm not saying people who are into it are all people who have sex with animals, but it flirts with that line too closely for me.
I dunno, to me it's similar to finding elves (Tolkien-style) or aliens hot. It's a creature with human characteristics who isn't human. While I wouldn't be attracted to a character because they're an anthropomorphic animal, it certainly wouldn't stop me if they awesome in every way that matters.
I personally don't think it means the people are attracted to animals any more than the people who like Yaoi are attracted to humans whose eyes are 30% of their face.
Of course, if I have to think about it, I fail to see how I could kiss someone who doesn't have lips, only a mussle. I wouldn't want to do that. On the other hand, I thought the point was that furries don't feel like humans and feel like they're closer to their true selves when they're their animal alter egos. Which probably isn't that far from people who prefer being their cleric dwarf or barbarian ogre.
As someone who often feels like humans are the worst animals in many ways, I can certainly understand why someone would want to pretend they aren't one.
And even when it's sexual, isn't it between two non-humans anyways?
I'm not sure why yaoi should be wrong though. It's just a subcategory of hentai (manga porn). It's gay (male) porn, and well, what's wrong with that? Lots of people like gay (female) porn too (yuri in the manga version).
For the little hentai I've read, the only thing that really disturbed me was males constantly saying "Ahh, my penis is melting!" and it supposed to be something good. Er, okay? That's more likely to make me actually run away if your little guy is melting, but whatev'.
I don't know if yaoi is super-different in a weird, disturbing way, since I haven't ever read any (although I've read some shonen ai) but I personally don't really see a reason why it would be.
Unless Hassat's problem is the idea of a sexual fandom to begin with?
(If we keep going on about that, we might cause another topic to be split!)
Furries = Animal fans; goto furry conventions; dress as anthropomorphic animals. Trekkies = Star Trek Fans; goto Star Trek Conventions; dress as Star Trek characters Zoophiles(Bestiality) = People physically attracted to real animals, period.

I wonder if that makes Monkey Island fans Monkies.

Ah, that's what I have the problem with.
I admit furryism seriously squicks me out, but I don't think it's technically any more "wrong" or abominable than say, homosexuality and there are plenty of other technically healthy sexual fetishes out there that gross me out more. Eh.
P.S. I used to love yaoi, except now I've pretty much lost my attraction to Anime characters.

More that a non-sexual fandom is automatically seen as only sexual, while the actual sexual fandoms don't get that kind of response that everyone is fucking off each other :S.

...are those apples in the corset cups?
It's Guybrush as Elaine's V3.
And yes.
What is acceptable within the confines of the forum is rather limiting
Winslow crossdressing?:D

Foiled again!
But yeah, it looks like something out of a Disney movie. Sort of like Robin Hood.
A bit disturbed? Yeah, I was kind of thinking Robin Hood among other things.

I think it's awesome to be honest. I love it.

You see many 8 year olds with 5 o'clock shadow?
