Monkey Island music you'd like to hear return

So what music from past Monkey Island games would you like to have returned either in it's original just improved or remixed?

These are the ones I'd like to hear return:

Ghost Ship Shuffle

Something similar to Melée Forest could have been perfect in Flotsam jungle at night..

I've always enjoyed Falling Off the Cliff from Curse, and I was both surprised and excited when I finally got to play LeChuck's Revenge and heard it there as Captain Kate's Boat, but as much as I like it, I don't know that I'd like to hear it recycled again.

It was used it the diving scene in chapter 3 as well as removing the lion paw in chapter 4.

I do like that song though. : D

Now that you mention it, I may remember it. I started the series over from Secret almost a week ago, and I just finished Narwhal tonight, so the whole series is a little bit of a blur right now, and until I finish the other three chapters, there's some pretty huge holes in my memory as far as Tales is concerned.

You do know it's present in ToMI? Well, sort of, in a short cue way.

I don't remember the exact place where it plays, but the music file itself is called "stinger-sinking", and I think it's from Lair of the Leviathan.

EDIT: Oh dang, kinda late :)

Though it has never really been used before, "the plank of love" should be playing over the end credits (provided the game has a good ending, that is).

    This is satisfactory.

I would like to hear the "wally crying" music from CMI. For some reason, for many years i thought this tune was a reuse from an earlier game, but i was wrong. This music, i feel, was the essence of of the entire theme of CMI, and what really set off the score to that game.

Anyone else feel that the return of Stan's theme was a tad disappointing? It was the blandest rendition ever, they didn't bother to do anything with it. I was surprised they even left out the opening cue!

I also like the "Falling" theme and I was glad to hear it again in Chapter 3.

And I like the SCUMM Bar theme, and enjoyed hearing the Club 41 version.

I'd like to hear a new Woodtick theme, but they'd probably have to go back to Scabb Island to justify doing that song again.

I'd also like to hear the music played in the House of Prothesis :)

Agreed! The Woodtick theme was the best alongside the Diving Theme/Falling Theme/Diving Again Theme.

Following the Shopkeeper/Melee Forest (both/either renditions).

The opening theme in secret of monkey island on the amiga still sends the old shivers up the spine for me.

    you mean this?

In my opinion the Scumm Bar theme is probably the best Monkey Island tune ever. It's such a pity that the Scumm Bar was never featured in any other MI game!

I'd love to hear a song sung by some of the characters. You know what I mean.

Uuum, that's not actually true, you know.

I'd like to hear the Voodoo Lady theme used in games II-IV, I don't know why Michael Land decided to go for something different in this game considering the reuse of so many well known themes from the previous games.

    and in TMI

That's kinda what I'm saying, that in TMI we have MI2-4 Voodoo Theme. It's just a different rendition of it, so may seem like a whole new different theme from a certain point of view, I suppose.

I like the opening music in Curse because it has steel drums.

Yeah although different music was played in the Scumm Bar in EMI, it was actually quite calm and soothing in a pirate way so didn't bother me :)

Or how this music to return:

listen through whole video to listen to it all! :D

Well that's what I meant. It might only be a variation of the II-IV theme but I prefer the original melody.

Well, I played Leviathan and Trial and Execution last night and heard the Kate Capsize/falling off a cliff music, and I remembered exactly why I'd forgotten that it had already been brought back in Tales. It was short and there was just something about this version of it that didn't really get me the same way the first two instances of it did.

I would like to hear more in-joke / pop culture related themes.

For example in MI2 the Indiana Jones theme.
