IMO yes, if you like Monkey Island 5 games, hang on to your originals - I look forward to TOMI pt 5/receiving a disk of TOMI ...

    Ditto Indiana Jones films/games ....

I wish that e.g. Monkey Island 5 (almost) games so far had a code/button you could press so that we could just 'watch the movie' ...

Aliens really aren't that strange in the fantasy/science fiction universe of Indiana Jones. Watch the first three again, and you'll see they're just as crazy.

    Exactly

Anyone that doesn't understand Indiana Jones 4, never watched WOTW, or Journey to the Center of the Earth, the original versions...

It's perfect for what it's going for but people never listen, they always argue. IT totally nailed the 50s era satire it was leaning on.

Actually, I did recently. That last scene(s) of Indy 4 was / were over the top nonetheless.

The ending, sure. They could've kept it more mysterious, like with the Ark. But the alien theme itself makes perfect sense.

So does being over the top...If you don't know 50s films then you have no room to judge Indy 4, watch the original Journey to The Center of the Earth or any other 50s action/ adventure movies...A cultured eye would observe that the movie is damn near perfect in achieving towards its personal aims.

I like to compare it with Indiana Jones 4, the movie: WHY on earth did Spielberg have to put f***ing ALIENS in there??
They ain't aliens, they are interdimensional. :P

    Point in fact.

Besides I'm pretty sure Lucas did most of the plot points, Indiana Jones is very much Lucas's other baby.... Spielberg is the director, one who has a huge say in things mind you.
