The Pyrite Parrot! I completely forgot! Oh my goodness, is it too late to change it?

I thought about sister agnes, but was she actually a character? She never actually appeared in the game, only by reference and picture.

Eh, I'm not sure. I wouldn't edit the list with her.

Unfortunately it's too late to put in The Pyrite Parrot either. You can't edit polls.

I think apart from the main characters, the ones I liked most are Morgan (wonderful new character, and well characterized too), the Marquis (simply one of the best villains monkey island ever had) and, need I say, Van Winslow (he's just too funny). But in the end I voted for the Voodoo Lady, because I think she is the character who evolved the most in this game.

Guybrush is obviously out in front, with 13 votes,
followed by Van Winslow, with 12
then 3rd equal currently are Le Chuck and Morgan with 11
and 5th stands murray, with 10.

Interesting results! I imagine this is just about the way they'll stay from hereon in.

And I notice that other than Morgan, LeFlay, The Ferryman, and Galeb also have the most votes. :D

Sudden Spout of Morgan Voters, she overtakes Guybrush and moves to 1st!

Voted for Morgan, she was awesome.
  • edited December 2009
Okay, which three of you voted for the thief? I hate that guy! To each his own, I guess.
  • edited December 2009
No love for Guybrush's hand? :D
  • edited December 2009
Morgan way out in front now with 24, Guybrush tracking behind with 20. Van Winslow makes up third with 16.
  • edited December 2009
Looks like Morgan's going to take the prize! I'm moderately surprised at that, I thought there were other, equally interesting characters. But I did love Morgan, definately.

Why don't you chill out, Friiiiieeeend.

I thought I was the only one who hated that guy and was a bit creeped out by him! Until I saw that he too was voiced by Jared-Emerson Johnson. :D

There was something really hateful about him. I think it was quite well acted, to be honest.

I freakin' loved Galeb. Not sure why, but the compulsive lying cracked me up every time.

I have a hard time finding redeeming qualities in a character whose afro has afros, and the friend thing got on my nerves quickly. But like I said, to each his own.

Oh I see how it is with all this Pyrite Parrot discrimination of not having a poll option for it.

Anyway, since there's too many characters I like a lot, I just voted for my very favorite to make it easier for myself. So just Elaine.

Oh, I don't think he's supposed to have any redeeming qualities, but is supposed to be an annoying obstacle, Frrrrriiiiieeeeend.

If you keep up the "frrrrrrrriiiiiiiieeeeeeeend" thing I think I'm going to have to cut your hands off too.

Which brings up another question, he can pickpocket with no hands but how in the world does he maintain his afros without them?

What's this I hear? The Tim "The Thief" Thiefman facts thread?

There is no theory of evolution, only the genetic material that Thiefman didn't have time to stea- *is shot*

The Thief once stole his own past, creating a tumultuous paradox that could've killed us all. Luckily, he stole the paradox too.

Funny how Morgan has 4 more votes than Guybrush himself...lol

I wanted to vote for Human Lechuck only...that was a terrific idea that was well done imo...the zombie lechuck is fine and all as a villian but its expected now...the human part was refreshing!

Pretty much though I just picked the monkey island regulars, i.e. Stan, Murray etc...just because they are all awesome...oh and I liked Morgan...the rest I doubt will remain in memory for that long unfortunately...

Yeah, me too. By far the most funny new character in ToMI in my opinion. I'm holding off my vote though, got to think about it first.

My favourite newly-introduced character in TOMI has got to be this guy --> :winslow:

I liked a lot of the new characters though. And it was great to see some of the much loved older characters make a return!

Morgan seems to have won this poll unless there's a seismic shift of opinion, Guybrush gets a comfortable second, and Van Winslow and Murray are the only two to have broken the 50 mark.
Telltale will have to put her in season two after seeing this poll! (As if they weren't already)
  • edited December 2009
I tried picking multiple choices, but then I realized I was clicking EVERYONE.

So I'll just vote for Winslow. :winslow:

    1. Guybrush - well, this one was fairly obvious
    2. LeChuck - because his "nice guy" human form sucked me in so much...
    3. De Singe - I have a lot of love for De Singe! If I was only allowed to pick one, he'd be it
    4. Bugeye - the interactions / character revelations in Chapter 5 mean he makes the list
    5. Murray - not just a gratuitous fan-pandering cameo
    6. Stan - my favourite incarnation so far

Morgan was also good, but I didn't think she needed any more votes.
