Heh, I think it's a little too late for that, now that I've shot my mouth off and all.
In all fairness, I love the cards as they currently are, and if it comes down to a choice between keeping the current version and getting a refund, I'd keep the ones I have. But I would love the cards even more if they came as originally advertised, and I felt I ought to ask (however ill-advised and brashly) to ask for them to be corrected thusly.
They're not going to be. If they were they would done so or said so. But in replacement you're extra cards that weren't in the game, if I understand things correctly. And that's neat. Or you can hack the TMI data files, extract the Scientist card graphic, and print it out yourself .
I already though asking for an extra card to be shipped for free to everyone who ordered was unreasonable, but now, asking for them to create a second whole deck with an extra card, so that you basically end up with more that double what you paid for (you still get the right number of cards even if one you wanted isn't there) is just... wow.
I totally understand being disappointed, but you come out as bitchy, demanding and entitled, ATM. I don't think you can be taken seriously when you say things this way, and I hope you realise that so you can voice your discontent in a more reasonable way next time.
Telltale isn't going to feel threatened by your "or I won't buy from you again", because they're not forcing you to to begin with, plus to be fair, when I worked in retail, we were happier losing the bitchy customers than keeping them.
And there doesn't seem to even be a big risk of you actually not buying from them anymore. So it's a very futile threat that just undermines every point you might have. Add to that the demand that they'd print what you already got, plus more, and then ship it for free, and who could take you seriously?
