I found it the longest (didn't time myself but I felt like it) but I wasn't stuck a single time.
To be fair, I pretty much wasn't stuck at any point in any of the episodes. But in RotPG I don't feel like I ever had to think about what to do next. It was kinda like watching a movie, in a way.
So no, I didn't find it hard at all, played it all in one go and everything. But different people solve different things, so you can't expect everybody to have trouble at the same point.
Probably. Other than the final confrontation with LeChuck, the episode is a cakewalk. In fact, that's a lot of my problem with the bulk of the start of it. I generally always knew exactly what to do. Many times I was required to go through some tedious gameplay and walk back and forth between locations over and over again to perform the steps I'd already figured out.

Yeah, that was annoying. It might just be me but I feel that if you spend more time getting from one place to another than actually doing things or thinking about puzzles, there is something wrong.
Of course, the fact that getting from one place to another involved Guybrush spinning around several times didn't help (twice just to get from the boat to to the Tavern Portal).
At least by that time I had realised GB could run. Chapter One was extremely frustrating because of that.
Yeah I expect you're alone, I found the episode really easy and was only confused by the big showdown. And that was only because I tried the correct procedure but it didn't work first time so I was trying to think of another method for ages.
Trial was the one that took me the longest amount of gameplay to complete, but Rise didn't. There was one part that took me a while to get around though in chapter 5, and that was the LeChuck battle. Took me a lot longer than it probably should have!
The whole season was fairly straightforward for me. I've been playing every MI game in the hardest setting and I dare say that Tales is easier than Escape.
The only problems I had were in the first chapter, when strapped to DeSinge's chair - I pressed every single key on my keyboard and the chair wouldn't switch horizontally - and in Trial I couldn't get to the Sixth Sense treasure because I had an buggy older version of the game, until I got a savegame from here.
I didn't have any problems at all with Rise, but I did have a lot of stuck moments in earlier episodes. In Execution I was only stuck on the map, and that's it, and Screaming Narwhal gave me no problems either, but in Spinner Cay and Leviathan I had a lot of moments where I just didn't know what to do.
Lol, I found Leviathan a walkover, just played it straight through no problems.... but got stuck a couple of times on Spinner Cay and Rise! Each to their own
From what I can remember most, Leviathan gave me problems with:
-The lens. It took me long enough to realize I can steal them but even longer to know I had to make DeCava see orange.
-I didn't know I had to look at the monkey hull again to get a face
-For some reason I couldn't figure out that I had to change the arrow button on the locket for a really long time.
in RotPG I don't feel like I ever had to think about what to do next. It was kinda like watching a movie, in a way.
exaclty
i think telltale ment it to be that way. an easy walkthrough to tie up the season in a way the players would enjoy. you get to relax a little bit, and enjoy the humor of MI.
I found it kinda hard because I look for every little thing, try everything I possibly can. I played around with everything. that can make it a bit frustrating
I thought "Trial" was tough (of course, I don't watch Court TV.) I wasn't sure how to question witnesses or handle the evidence. It took a while, but I FINALLY got the hang of it! :^)
Huh. I actually found RotPG pretty difficult. There were a lot of points where I kinda knew what to do but I didn't have the items or didn't know where to get them. Or how, in some cases. And then LeChuck's ship was kinda painful, but I got the hang of it. I only used, I think, two hints from the forum for the chapter, though, just 'cause I wanted to do the last episode all by myself. Of course, the things I did look up I probably wouldn't have gotten. I don't think it was the hardest, though - there were others that were harder, methinks.
Well it the easiest episode for me. I managed to solve all the puzzles I came across. Well, only the LeChuck Finale was difficult since you do not have the freedom to move and LeChuck pops up randomly.
I believe it depends on the paths you lead Guybrush to. For example, you could go to a place and you don't have the required inventory item and waste your time there thinking. An also, my friend is smarter and sharper than me in solving puzzles (he finished the previous episodes quickly) yet he struggled in this one like your case I suppose so yeah you are not the only one
I think i found it quite hard. I can't really remember my first playthroughs of the others, so i can't really compare. I know it's a toss-up between 4/5 for me.
I found it to be the longest of the bunch, or at least the one with the most puzzles. That whole puzzle section between the first and second halves where you're trying to
Yup, certainly felt the longest, and I did all 5 in a row.
I played with hint level 0 (no bar lit is off, not?) like probably all of you are too anyway and I only needed a walkthrough hint once in "Launch of the Screaming Narwal" to get moving, for the rest it was all myself. Making that unanimously my most difficult episode of all 5.

RotPG must be the easiest of them all. You DO know what to do in some puzzles, and what's needed is nearly always in your inventory anyway.

I'd say the most difficult was Leviathan.
