I'm wondering how much of a beat-up the Julian Assange charges are (and whether police would have given them so much attention if they related to anyone else). Will be interesting to see how the case pans out.
I just figured out, when it comes to girls, I have high standards.
Yes, apparently long dark hair, blue eyes and glasses is a rare combination. And it's probably right, at least in the Netherlands. I mean, how often can you find a girl in the age zone of 25 (give or take a few years) with dark hair and blue eyes, let alone one with both long hair (difficult to maintain apparently with all these split edges and stuff) AND glasses? Not to mention most people aren't even confident with wearing glasses (and yes, even men probably have this problem).
Which brings me to another point, why are people so uncomfortable with wearing glasses? Contrary to what female fashion mags say, glasses in most cases make women look better. Also, why the hell should women care about what the fashion mags say, or people in general? It's something subjective, and pretty much pretentious. It's not important how you look like as long as you're comfortable with it.
Not that I have something against skimpy dresses or fashionable dresses, in fact, sometimes going with the current trends will result in you discovering that you DO look better in certain types of clothes, but if you're not comfortable with bow ties or top hats or cardigan sweaters or whatever is in at the moment, you should not wear it.
Which brings me to another point. Feminism. I once saw an episode of Wife Swap where the mother was teaching her daughters to be feminists. The youngest daughter actually did like feminine stuff, which is actually good, as she has decided for herself that she likes things like fashion shows and other stuff. In the end she was even allowed to do the girly things she loves. The older girl, the one who was 13 years old, was violently against it all and shit. Now I'm not saying I have a problem with that, it's just that I have a problem with that.
You see, you can THINK it degrades women to lust-objects, but the fact is, women today are capable of making their own decisions. I mean, if men can act like total sluts, why can't women? If men can be perverts, why can't women? Also, men today are more into fashion than a few years earlier, so if men accept this equal treatment stuff, why can't these feminist women accept that it's okay for women to feel pretty? Also, these days, it's not a bad thing to be a dorky chick, I know enough men who dig dorky chicks, me included.
Which also brings me to another thing, porn. Not actual porn, but the reaction of people against porn. And I'm more talking about these people who label women depicted in porn as sluts or whores. Just because they do porn doesn't mean they're sluts. Yes, it's true that there are enough women who actually chose to do porn movies without being forced into it, but it still doesn't mean they're sluts. In fact, from what I can understand it's hard work. During the shooting of a porn I imagine the woman orgasms more than they actually show in the videos. Now it's already exhausting for men to keep it up for that long, but imagine the same for women. Just like men, they have a cooldown period.
And it's also not true that these men are "lucky men", they too have to work very hard, no pun intended. In the end they too do it for a paycheck, and in the end they too are exhausted. I imagine that at least a beginning actor can have sore limbs, pun intended.
Which brings me to yet another point. Professional gaming. Why do people see these people as nerds? I mean, there are a lot of girl gamer clans, and I know at least one girl gamer clan that doesn't even contain any "ugly" chick.
In fact, why do most male gamers immediately assume that a girl gamer can't be pretty? I mean, if people can mass fap to the Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto (for those who don't know yet, it's Jade Raymond, producer of Assassin's Creed, and, I have to admit, pretty much eye candy), why won't they believe a girl gamer can have, like, a nice figure and / or face, or even just a set of boobs? Is it that hard to believe?
In fact, why do people in general always assume gamers are overweight sweaty geeky dork-nerd otakus? Sure, there are extreme cases, but it most certainly is not always the case. Also, why is it that gamers always have to confirm this fact? I mean, protesting as gamers is one thing, cosplaying while protesting is just pushing it and only confirms the fact that gamers are immature pricks who have to be protected against themselves. Seriously, what the hell?
Talking about hell, I don't believe in hell. Yeah, that's pretty much is it. I also don't believe in heaven. I do believe in a creator though, in a "God", but not in a heaven or hell. I believe that people get their rewards of punishment either in this life or in another life, or even another plane of existence. But the concepts "good" and "bad" pretty much are subjective. Nobody has the same sense of what is good or what is bad. To give a very extreme example, while we people don't shoot our "deformed" babies, certain tribes in certain countries might. Homosexuality wasn't that uncommon in ancient Greece, but nowadays there are certain religions who consider it a sin. Therefore I must conclude that no, there is no heaven or hell.
And I mean, what if there is a heaven or hell? Sure, in hell you suffer eternal suffering, but what's so good about heaven? You're dead, eventually all the rewards turn to eternal boredom, since nothing can't be gotten in heaven.
So yeah, I have high standards when it comes to girls.
I hate that show! I hate it! The regime hates it! You are banned from free speech, Comrade. You are not allowed to post Evangelion shit here! This is a new Socialist-Communist regime run by me! This is not democracy! You do not have any say! Get it out of here! REMOVE! REMOVE! REMOVE! REMOVE! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! OBEY! OBEY! OBEY! WE WILL HAVE YOU BEATEN. BROKEN! YOUR HEAD MOUNTED ON MY WALL KIND OF OBEY!

Seconded, though I also don't believe in God or any form of afterlife (nor rewards nor punishment). That depends what to count as an afterlife. If we take into account that nothing really is GONE from the universe, but is transformed from one form into another, and that, I suppose, human body does produce some kind of energy (though not Matrix-style battery-energy, of course), that energy will go somewhere, eventually, maybe, returning to bring life to some other life form. But that's hardly an after-life - that's a new life, and we won't even know it.
Here in the United states we are on Night of the Second Day, whilst Japan is at Dawn of the Third Day.
But of course, you already knew this
I love you, Rem. You know I'm American, right? I was born in the armpit of the United Sta- I mean New Jersey. Just haven't been home in a LOOOONG time. I lived in Beijing, then Kobe, then Hanoi for a while. And now I'm in Tokyo. And I'm planning on moving within stalking distance of Tellta- I mean, I'm moving to California next year.

Well I could tell you weren't actually Japanse, for sure. You don't look it.
I have to ask, What is it like in Japan? my only reference for what it would be like is Death Note, and that obviously cant be accurate. I doubt there's someone running around with an actual notebook of death and a god of death following them around.

Allow me to direct you to three of my photo albums.
I'll be happy to write something more detailed later. You can also look at my photos from China, Vietnam, and the Caribbean in the main page. I never put up my photos from my volunteer work in Israel, though.
I actually was hoping for just a description, as I can't go to any website without parental approval, I don't like talking about reasons. Flickr is not something that has been approved.
Christ, right now I want to go bang my head against a wall in the hopes that I can get an essay idea to coalesce because I need to have a 6-7 page paper done by 4 pm ish tomorrow.

Ah. Well, I'll be happy to write something later- I have a 20 minute presentation on obesity due today that I started at 5AM this morning..

No strangely it's not, our grade system goes like this: -03, 00, 02, 4, 7, 10, 12
Don't ask me why it's like that, because I wouldn't be able to answer it.

Haha, don't worry, my joke doesn't work as well in light of the full grading scale anyway.
(Note: Being from Denmark, one of the holy lands of metal music, you owe it to yourself to see Spinal Tap. )
But at least I won't be wanting for games for a long while.
Also can't wait for my copy of Sam and Max Freelance Police, and Halo Reach Limited Edition to arrive.
