Mischievous devils do not provide resumes.

    You have already failed.

It really depends on what the resume is.

    Here it is.

It doesn't work if you choose something that's more awesome than the original.

Regardless, I see your metal friday and I raise you a more realistic version.

Point conceded, in this case it's the only university I've seen with entire, critical software not functioning and making it unable to submit papers.

What is this? An electronic paper-submitter? I don't believe it! Back in my day (which was last week, actually) we had to submit hard copies of papers by HAND! BY HAND, you hear! Through the gloom of night and lashing rain, walking uphill both ways!

    You kids have it easy.

    That's the joke.

Also, my university is younger than yours by about four years or so. Not sure this is relevant, but it's sorta amusing to me.

Had another power outage today. This one only lasted about four hours, instead of 26 like last time. Oh, and it was confined to our little "island" of houses. If you follow the sidewalk in front of my house all the way around and back here, that was the boundary of the outage. If at any point, you left the sidewalk and crossed the street, there would be power.

Just you wait! I'm going to amount an army of cyborg-killers and avenge his absence... well, either that or drink a mug of hot Coco. Whichever option I choose, I can ensure you that it shall be performed with tremendous malice, you rotten shits.

I want it on the record that I had nothing to do with it.

That said, it's no secret that the quality of conversation around here has been dropping severely lately, in large part due to a lack of new Telltale releases for us to discuss. Fawful was just sick of this place. He'd been saying it and threatening to leave for months, and now he's finally made good on it.

Can't agree with this more. Hopefully, when King's Quest comes out, we'll get some interesting debates once more.

... as nice as it will be to replay both titles in glorious HD, I'm mostly looking forward to playing Shadow of the Colossus without the frame rate issues that hampered the otherwise superb PS2 version.

....yeah. That's...uh, the whole premise. House is a modern Sherlock Holmes, that is the core concept of the series.

House. Sherlock Holmes. Say it. House. What's another word for a house, particularly the one you live in? What's the plural of that? House and Holmes are both drug addicts. Watson/Willson. Watson has a medical problem with his leg, so does Wilson. House lives at 221B. Vicodin is produced by Watson Pharmaceuticals, and we see that logo stamped on the pills from time to time. Both are lazy unless they are on a case. Both are highly specialized in their knowledge. Both have methodology that eludes those whose knowledge not as specialized as theirs. OF COURSE IT IS A DETECTIVE SHOW, THAT IS THE POINT.

Sounds rather good. I suddenly have an interest in checking out this House thing, beyond gawking at a grizzled old serious Hugh Laurie.

... Yeah, I tend to be a bit behind the times. I hear there's this thing called Star Wars that is also quite popular?

It's good for a couple seasons but I honestly got to a point where I stopped. There's a shtick to it that doesn't quite hold up long-term and the later seasons get bogged down in big, emotional storylines that circle the drain for episodes on end, and then tend to not go anywhere while we're introduced to more drama and whatnot. The series goes on a bit too long, suffers a near complete change of secondary cast at one point, and overall just isn't the very best series in the universe. But if you hang in for the first few seasons(I never really mentally noted when it got dull for me), it's a hell of a lot of fun for awhile, and the character of House himself is always amazingly well written, consistently witty, and just a blast to listen to.

I'm pretty sure House is the one with the problem in his leg. :D

Also, the Vicodin addiction is a parallel to Holmes's cocaine addiction, right?

Oh, and Coolsome, the gunman who shot House at the end of season two was Moriarty.

You know what? This is easier.

Sure there is, but the math gets really complicated after you take the square root of all the evil and divide the mind by the density of the human body.
