By spreading your own doctrine and belief while stifling competing views. What would you do if "atheism" was not a government-approved viewpoint?
Pants. Do you REALLY want the government regulating religion? Because personally, I don't want them regulating the construction of a paper BOAT, what with the current people in office. They'd just fuck it up and make everyone become evangelical Baptists or some shit like that.

Though, as per previous conversations, I wouldn't mind all Churches having to undergo some sort of tax audit or something, you know, akin to other non-profit agencies... just to make sure they aren't milking their tax-free status.

Sometimes with religion bad things happen. Sometimes with government bad things happen. People are flawed and bad things happen because people get greedy, spirtual beliefs or not.

You're hardly pointing to China, a country with a shitty shitty human rights record as an example of doing it right are you?

If they don't fall to the spirtual con men they fall to some other scam, there's gullible people out there who'll be scammed, in work I get at least 5 people every day who've been conned some way or another, some oblivious, some in tears, then there's the Scientologist woman...

We were examining the latest wave of cons which are tied to the London 2012 Olympics, do we propose we ban the Olympics because some dishonest people are using it as a means to extract money from the vulnerable? No. We educate people and make them aware. Reactionary action is never the way forward, moreso when it impedes on peoples civil liberties and freedoms.

Fine, whatever. I'll drop it. I had been reading a whole fuckton about the excesses of evangelism and some horror stories from former scientologists and was quite sick and tired of religion and how it seems to have the effect of driving some people to bigotry and insanity and thought "Gee, it'd be great if there was a way for that not to happen" but whatever. Maybe I overstepped my bounds. Whatever.

    'Irregardless' isn't a word.

It's in the dictionary, listed as nonstandard, but it is apparently a word.

I don't know what it could possibly mean. I mean, if something is not regardless... does that mean it's regard...ful? So we should regard everything.

Seems like a mashup of "irrespective" and "regardless". I choose to believe it is not a word. Seriously, it's not even in the Scrabble dictionary, which includes "words" like BRRR ("used to indicate that one feels cold").

Happy to see family? I'd love to see my family more often than once a year. :P

I went to a website for a store that I know used to have the option to apply for a job online (It seems to have disappeared) and I promptly start making fun of every problem I can find. I must be tired.

Do I HAVE to spoil the convenience of a late-night takeout delivery by putting on pants to answer the door?

Depends on whether these are american "pants" or british pants.

Because one would be a little more... *ahem* steamy than the other! ;D

EDIT: Changed my relationship status on Facebook from single to its complicated.
At the moment I'm torn between the PSP and the 3DS.
They both have their perks and quirks, and don't want to part with either of them.
Normally I am a one console man, but dem graphics! :3

I love this shirt a LOT.

I'd also totally buy a shirt printed with 5318008... a little less cerebral, but still amusing.

Hehe, I tend to use the one word for both now, which is probably confusing. In this instance please rest assured I did mean trousers!

I think Wiseman in Sailor Moon anime has a serious case of mutple personality since he rants about serving his master the Death Phantom (when he thinks no one can hear and when someone overhears it almost ruins his plan).

Yet it turns out he is the Death Phantom so hes obviously nuts! I don't know how this pans out in the manga though.

Oh man, those suggestions of Rule34 are hillarious. Reminds me of the time I tried to find Rule34 that didn't exist and promptly found Little Mac and Super Macho Man Rule34.

Also, my life is now complete as I finally found the one Rule34 a few weeks ago I couldn't find.

Does anyone else think the whole BATS thing today was kind of hilarious? They had to pull the plug on their IPO because of problems on their own exchange. They're now referred to as BATShit. :p
