Well..to tell you the truth. It's a privacy issue between user and the site. Also it's not fair if someone has to talk badly about a member and the member can not be here to defend themselves.

TL;DR Privacy issue and Between member and forum.

So as much as I hate to blacklist discussion on anything, in this case, it's simply necessary. Now I don't want to hear another word about it.

Thank you guys for answering why we aren't allowed to discuss this.

Is it morally wrong to trip someone when the worlds most vicious tiger Mr Tirgerpuss is chancing the both of you to be its "Jungle Bride" "Jungle Bride".

Okay, I may have over reacted. I was just getting tired of seeing so many people get banned lately. I still probably won't be here as much, but I felt bad leaving in such a rude way.

The mods have reasons for what they do, we know very little on why the bans were made, but we have to trust them. They earned their modship for a reason, because telltale themselves trusted them.

Well we just got a snow storm after everything just finished melting for the second time. Over a foot of snow out there and I have to walk to work. Fun.

All rightie, really foggy where we are driving through, if we drive off a cliff, then goodbye yalls.

If we live, I'll be playing Tribes when I get home:p

Last night I waited in a dark corner outside waiting for my wife to come home.. When she did I stepped out of the shadows and gave a short shout.... I have never seen my wife run so fast and swear so loudly in my life.... I know... I'm wicked.

You're British, right? Where are you exactly? We've not had any snow in the South.

Hehe. I used to pull that kind of thing all the time on my ex-girlfriends. No wonder I'm single!

By the way Irishmile, I'm assuming that "you're leaving the forum" was an April Fools' gag?! Not cool.

I wouldn't say that you could please or piss everyone off with anything.

More people should read Heinlein. It would make the world a much more interesting place.

    Hardly.

I can tell you for one thing that I don't like this "rule" as well, but I can see its point, unfortunately very much so. The key phrase is the "no apparent reason" bit. Of course there is one, and it's definitely not because we don't like people's noses. Sometimes a community member makes a huge mess, and when everything is finally cleaned up, the same mess reappears by members guessing the ban reason or worse, actually quoting it from memory. It's like a perpetuum mobile. Still, sometimes there are completely different reasons that can't be told, and mods just sit there in front of their screen contemplating whether they should (or are allowed to) disclaim this or that stupid, wrong and community-inflaming guess. And that's why the discussion is a no-go. I can testify however that I have YET not ever banned someone for "discussing banned members". I have, however, on occasion deleted a lot of posts with such discussion without warning.

...although my history lessons might fail me here, I'm also pretty sure Nazi Germany didn't have Internet forums. Ah well, off to ask my grandmother.

I had no doubt there was a reason behind it, but it was the secrecy that threw me a little bit. But I understand your reasons a bit more now. Whilst I don't agree with them (surely an official statement from a mod/admin as to why they banned them, quoting a rule they violated without going into specifics, with a disclaimer spelling out that discussion will not be tolerated would minimise harm. It would avoid all this discussion for a start ^_^), I shall comply, and won't raise the topic again.

    Have a picture.

On topic: We need the snow more than you northerners! We're in drought!*

*drought is actually quite wet with plenty of water.

Aside from a "hey, Coolsome was banned" no. Mods can get strict on this rule.

Nope. Got into a minifanboy attack on the Halo 3 one. But on others I've seen him be called
    • A sony fanboy
    • A microsoft fanboy
    • A video-game hater
    • A retard
    • and unproffesional(the only correct one)

Great, now I need to see the fanboyism on his Kinect review.

Hmm. Maybe I was looking at a different copy of the video because when I looked at the Halo 3 one, most of the people on the first page were telling off the fanboys.

Speaking of Yahtzee, anyone try his new free game poacher?

He meant it as "awful taste".

He used the worst argument I've seen in quite a while to do it, though.
