Also, what I don't get is this. Nintendo's Wii U hasn't been doing so hot lately, but we also know they're basically sitting on a pile of money. They can afford to have this console flop. Don't think it will actually flop, but it's all still too soon.
People are already saying the PS4 or the XBox Infinity will do much better, even though neither is out yet, and won't be until the end of this fiscal year, which is somewhere in the beginning of next year (at least I've heard rumors that both consoles won't launch this year anymore, due to wanting to fine-tune their devices).

Well, they've got a lot of great games on the horizon, and undoubtedly some announcements at E3 too. Plus, a year ago everyone was saying this about the 3DS, and look what happened. So many awesome games out for it now, and in the future. I guess they had their hands tied up with keeping that alive, and were unable to focus on the wii U.
Plus they've got that Sega partnership now, which probably cost a lot of money.

They can go on with losses for the next forty years, perhaps only twenty if they're really not being careful.

If there's one thing Nintendo has figured out, is that as long as they have GameCube level of first party quality and volume they will NEVER fail.
(Don't forget, the GameCube was actually profitable despite it being the least popular)
I'm now animating the walking away cycle. Feels discouraging that I'm going to have to keep animating the hero's walking cycles for the next week. At least progress is faster now.
Also, it had one of the best controllers ever, purple colouring be damned.
You are a madman. Nintendo controller design has been daft and completely off the wall insane since the N64. The last good controller they designed(and to their credit it was one of the best in the history of the medium) was for the Super Nintendo.

I'm with Marsden on this one. I don't know why so many people dislike the GameCube controller. I always found it to be comfortable and intuitive. Not to mention that the GameCube was the only console of its generation to have a first-party wireless controller.

I can't really remember how the GC controller felt to play. It broke after about a year, and I replaced it with a bulky and very noisy (the buttons were very very clicky.). I had a wavebird briefly, but that worked for about two weeks (the analogue stick was very lose. if I tilted the controller, it would move. And it wouldn't reset to the centre properly when you let go of it, so the character would perpetually walk left. Or in circles.
And I actually quite liked the N64 controller. In games where the D-pad was never/rarely used. Plus, this was my childhood.
I just played the teaser. I got as far as the blood stained room and that was it.
Likewise. It certainly seems like an interesting idea, but I have my doubts that it'll work as a full game. But hey ho, I've been wrong on plenty of things before.
I love horror. The book I’m working on right now is about a haunted school and four kids who each encounter the horrors lurking in its halls.
Also, sorry for the delay on Telltale Murder Mystery. I’ve been so damn busy lately, and I haven’t found time to work on it. I promise it will be up in late May or June.

Wow, you had some incredibly shitty GameCube controllers. None of mine ever had any kind of hardware problems, including the one that my dog chewed the rubber off the sticks.

I'm going to do a Lets Play of it tonight. Hopefully it get people interested. Also, music music music is great.
Okay, so, I'm planning on making a pretty standard Tower Defense game, nothing too special, it's going to be track-based, as in, critters go from point A to B on a fixed path, sort of, and you have to build towers around it and stuff. Going to make a design document for it first though, so nothing too special.
But here's my thoughts. I want to give it multiple themes, as in, there are different themed towers you can build, all doing different things. Now this will be tough to ballance, not to mention tough to make each tower different from one another, but it's doable. The thing is, I first need to establish the themes I'm going to use. I do know I'm going to make it a pretty cheerful game, nothing too serious. Potential themes are Fantasy, Western, Horror, Sci-Fi, Medieval and Urban. Perhaps Farm, Music and Army also.

...meh. Whatevs.

I think as soon as it became political, everyone in the UK stopped caring about it... -_-

Oh crap, I'm supposed to ENCOURAGE you.
Same here. The Wavebird specifically.

Me too.
What are you talking about? I googled it, and all I got was hotel bullshit.
All I found was a little game on Sploder.

It's a point and click horror adventure in pixel style with Gothic Victorian music. IT'S GREAT.

I wish St. Eddie was here to answer this question.
Me too.
If its trending something I like then I care.

That and I probably would make it card-based.
When it is amusing yes.
I’ve been in there once. I laughed like hell as a result of some of the donut names, especially the C***-and-Balls.
Awesome! I'm looking forward to going.
