*sniff* I... I think I have something in my eye...

Amazing! You're all very talented indeed! The final tribute :(
    Are the lyrics available anywhere?

I'm gonna really miss your tributes, hopes for TOMI2

    SWP
Lots of fun we had these days,
    Monkey laughter, Stan's new place.
    Pirates really set the case,
    And now
    It's coming to an end.

    Majus had flashmovies made,
    Fans reacted, serenade
of pictures, musics, games they played,
    And now
    It's coming to an end.

    Kurt and Mihai
    SilverWolfPet sang his song
    Final tribute, words so strong
Now where do we all belong?
Our work is at an end.

    Suro smiled bitterly and said
Mihai, cheer up! the times ahead
Are for us not tears to shed.
But Our work is at an end.

    Nicki and Alexandra
Life is just an endless game
You're the hero, set the aim
    To ignite that creative flame!
    Just Never let it end.

    Childish laughter, humor too,
They are now a part of you,
Monkey Island and it's awesome crew,
    just never let it end.
    No
    Never let it end

Well, occasionally we all sung one word or lyric. :) Glad you liked it.

Well done Silver, a Outstanding Job :) , i was shocked how you got Nikki and Alexandra to get involved in this piece, but Monkey Island will never end, it will live on in hearts :)

    Simply awesome. Thank you!

This was awesome. I hope whoever replaces Darrell Rodriguez also likes adventure games, and lets Telltale do another season, and that you are wrong about the word Final.
  • edited May 2010
Please, let this not be the final tribute.

But on a lighter note, this song is very catchy.

I've never entered a forum filled with such talented people. This is the forum where i have met people with the most talented and unique abilities. People here make videos, draw some artsy stuff or make ponies and games awesome. This is a real talent pool for TTG future.

I wish i had a talent in creative stuff.

    :(

LOL, why did you have to make a song about your lives and how you made fan projects? You guys are great and we all appreciate what you do but...

    No...just no....no...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcEsyFo7G2o (Should of been more sincere, in my opinion)

Little mention of the fans ...it just didn't come off right to me. Thanks for your other uploads but I don't really feel anything for this one. Just my opinion, thanks.

I know it's your opinion and your certainly entitled to it, but some things should just be kept to yourself. There's a difference between giving some good, constructive criticism and just being a little bit inconsiderate. What you said wasn't horrible, but please just think about whether your opinion is worth posting, because it can sometimes be a little hurtful and uncalled for.

Edit: ...oh, and by the way, it's 'should have', not 'should of'. Just thought I'd let you know. It's a common mistake.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, dude! I deeply apologize that our little tribute made you feel that way. Please consider this as an official way of telling you that it was never dedicated to you, thus I hope it will make you feel better knowing that you will not be associated with the rest of us. Once more, sorry for the trouble. :)

As for the fans, thanks for watching! We were really nervous, thinking that you might not like it or that you might think it's a little bit too serious. Nicki noticed your reactions and she's happy that "you dig it" :p Oh and check out Alexandra's site! She said something about MI2:SE news and updates, but she didn't mention anything specific. We should keep our eyes open for cool stuff! (I think... I dunno, but it never hurts to snoop around).

Thanks! That drawing inspired me to voice Stan for IWWH! Really really helped, so I figured it should appear in the vid :p Forgot to mention that.

I was just being honest, every artist has to face a wide margin of people. Any good artist. I'm sorry that so many people can't handle my self honesty. It's a sad world we live in. Esp when artists run and hide from others who have a slight distaste of their work.

As a college student, who does critiques, not only do I face occasional criticisms of EVERYONE in the class but we expect it.

Then again artists who want to be the greatest all the time have little value to anyone. Inspiration is often found with flaws...

Nice work SWP... great job on pulling it all together... those months we all spent chatting up on the boards was a blast and I will always remember them when I replay tales and the special edition.

It's not that he can't take criticism, it's that he worked really hard on it and you basically were just like "LOL THIS SUX AND I KNOW BECAUSE I AM IN COLLEGE."

It doesn't matter if you didn't like it, I can understand that, but first you laughed at him. You just gave your negative criticism in a very distasteful manner.

Why so vulnerable and fragile? I never said that this sucks and because I'm in college I know it sucks. I only brought up my college experiences because having been in college I see people's work get critiques all the time. It's part of any good artist's life to get positive and negative feed back.

I don't think my college experience are unique either...I think it's pretty common. It's not like I said he sucks and has no life. I definitely, factually gave him credit where it was due and pointed out where I disagreed with his work.

In my eyes you are. It's just how I see things, so I'm inquiring on a thought. Obviously it's observation and a very human thing to do. I don't personally know you.

The way I see it, you're easily offended by what I'm trying to say. I didn't mean to come in here and brutally insult anymore. I don't dislike anyone here, I simply don't like what he's done here. It's just my opinion, there's nothing to defend. He's a artist, any mature artist faces all sorts of people.

I didn't think it was such a big deal to oppose what he's done. Again, we, I appreciate what he's done, I didn't enjoy this upload.

I didn't come here to argue, I was just being critical. I apologize if I was so utterly tactless that I insulted people.

I just don't understand your choice of words, vulnerable and fragile. And there's a difference between providing criticism and laughing at someone's hard work and just saying "eh, doesn't come off right to me." I just felt that your post was unnecessary and hurtful instead of a valid critique.

I don't dislike silverwolfpet, I don't love him, I'm not going to turn this around and say we're friends...I just thought he could handle some negativity. I like the guy's work, he's creative.

I just didn't see a reason to get emotional over this, maybe I'm just being blind sided.

To be honest I thought his video was a little funny, not to say I hated it, I just didn't really enjoy it.

As I said, I appreciate him, but I also said that I think it should of had more fan material in it. So I did make a attempt to critique. I did make the attempt, try again for my sake if you'd like.

I didn't mean to be hurtful, I guess I am being closed minded, where as my intents were not that malicious inward, I seem to have been rude and disrespectful outwardly :)

I apologize if I insulted you silverwolfpet, I still don't really care for this upload.
