Why? WHY?? Is it that hard?? My native tongue isn't even English, and still I know that it's supposed to be "have". I see people writing this all the time... but why is that?

Well, I got things to do so I'll waste time explaining it to you later...
    Because I didn't know.

    Successful troll is successful.

Also it's "should have" not "should of."

    For the second time :D.

Oh, by the way, it's 'I've got things to do'...

This is getting a little out of hand... Maybe I missed something but do you really have to pick up on every grammar or spelling mistake doodo! makes?

I think it helps the spam...Actually I'd call you a troll if you kept doing it...might even report you.

Hey, you're right, the idea is funny now...

I think I'm being harassed and taunted, I wonder how the admins would react to that. You think they would think it's funny too? Want to find out!?

It's the internet, there are grammar nazis everywhere. If we reported everyone who ever went on a grammar rampage we'd barely have any users left.

Can't say that I've seen too many here. Though I never got the message that this turned into the TellTale Grammar Forums....

I do typing/grammar errors all the time, but English is my second language so. :p

I always manage to type just as jsut, and have as ahve. But that is because I type so damn fast on my keyboard. :D

Oh, haven't seen the Tribute yet, I am at work so. But I will get to it when I get home, asap :)

Don't worry, it was a harmless joke. I normally wouldn't nit-pick people's posts to that extent, but this time I though it was, like Laserschwert said, good for entertainment value. I wasn't really being serious.

I think that you wanted to say," thought it was".

"good for entertainment value"?. What is this, cave man talk?

Maybe you wanted to say," it was good for entertainment value"?

Typically, in college level English classes they don't encourage the use of contractions.

Words like "wouldn't" and "wasn't" are not grammatically correct. Words like would not and was not are grammatically correct. We are just on a forum, but if you want to be a nit-picking jack ass I'll help you.

Not to mention, the first sentence is poorly structured, and that I got a B in English class this semester.

I'm not a toy, and if you want to start something I'll end it.

    Little touchy, eh?

And have you actually read the article you've linked to? It doesn't say anything about contractions being "incorrect"... in fact ""Contractions create a friendly, informal tone". There you go. ;)

It wasn't really caveman talk at all. By the way, I wasn't trying to cause any harm and I wasn't intending to annoy you to such a degree. I was actually having a bit of a joke that you must have taken the wrong way. I don't blame you for this, sometimes it's hard to tell what somebody is implying when all you have to go off is text. Would it help if I actually said that I'm sorry, because if you would like me to apologize then I will.

I actually talked to TGWTG regarding a theme song which he asked me to compose. We were talking about details and stuff, I sent him a few samples... and suddenly he stopped replying. Dunno why. He's a cool guy anyway :p And perhaps it is better that he doesn't have a theme song. [/brag]

It might be because they basically have an in-house musician now thanks to Skitch. In any case, you did a great job with your tribute, SWP.

If you still have those samples, do you think you could post them?
