    oh damn, you're right. confused the two.
    do you know if the d2d version has some steam-like client, too? or is it the same as the ttg edition with an online activation?

    I've never bought stuff from Direct2Drive before, but I just checked out their website and it doesn't look like they're using any kind of Steam-like client.

    No, he's not right. This thread is about MI2SE being on Telltale.

    The original question was: "Should I buy MI2SE from Steam or Telltale."

    As for D2D, you get an impossible to navigate download centre, you download the game with the hard to distinguish download button and then enter your serial key on a hard to see (it's very dark) HTML launcher page which you need your impossible to locate serial code for from the D2D page which is hard to locate. D2D also takes it upon itself to confuse the hell out of you by emailing you a purchase receipt after each activation.

    Sorry about that.
    I must have been confused by the thread title and the fact that about 90% of the posts in this thread have nothing to do with LeChuck's Revenge: SE. ;)
