What are you doing while waiting for Monkey Island 2 SE?

So, how are you passing the seemingly long amount of time until Monkey Island 2 Special Edition comes out? Personally, I'm taking a look at all the different covers of the theme song on youtube, and also practising my own keyboard version of the theme from the second game, which is driving me nuts! So, discuss.

I just started and finished Puzzle Agent this evening. Great game. Now I'm continuing Sam & Max Season Two from where I left off near the beginning of episode 3.

I was watching FIFA World Cup but both US and England are gone now so I bought Lego Indiana Jones on Xbox Games on Demand to pass the time. Why did they have to wait 'till july 7th? :(

I'm preparing for the Race by playing MI games through again, trying to figure out what the fastest method is.

Dammit, that's what I'm doing. After the race, we'll have to compare notes to see who was more obsessive.

More specifically, I'm currently trying to devise the fastest route through Pirate God, then I'm going to do a practice run either of the original Secret of Monkey Island (to compare against my recent practice run of the special edition) or of LeChuck's Revenge.

Having fun making my own a Devil's Toybox Board/Card game. Basically, it revolves around collecting Toy Cards, while moving pawns around a board via dice. If I ever get the rules to work, it might even turn to be kind of fun.

As long as you have a good memory for the puzzles and a sense of what order you need to do things in, you'd be surprised at how well you can do with absolutely zero planning. I had absolutely no plan when I started playing Curse for the last race, but I also have a very good knowledge of that game, and I ended up setting the record time. In fact, I had no plan for any of the games, and I managed to pull second place. Granted, I was still five hours behind Ozzie, and it was a much narrower field...

Yeah, I think I've had way too much practice over the years of playing the games. I must play the special edition monkey 2 in a relaxed manner before I rush through it in the race. I want to be able to stare at an environment for 5 minutes without having to do everything quickly. Good thing the race doesn't start until nearly a week after release.

I actually considered whether 5 days was too soon after release, but I think we can get a good soaking in of the special edition before it's time for us to blast through it as quickly as possible. Also, it'll hopefully be enough time for me to figure out the rules regarding the new version.

I'm also preparing for the race. Already done MI1 in the fastest time ever ever. MI2 next up, I think. But do I wait for the SE or play the original?

If I'm remembering right, gamemusicthemes.com has one of the woodtick variations.

I've been trying to learn Jojo the Monkey off there. Which has been a failing endeavor because 1. it's been forever since I took piano lessons, and I really can't read sheet music very well anymore, 2. it's been forever since I took piano lessons (which I never completed after losing two teachers) and I can't really play very well anymore, and 3. I've been mostly doing this late at night when all I have available to me is a little toy electric keyboard that has tiny keys and isn't nearly long enough.

    But hey, I'm trying!

I'm not really doing anything MI-related; I'm playing The Longest Journey.

I attempted that! I only succeded with one hand though. I never really was very good at the piano anyway, even with lessons. Now I'm slowly attempting the song at the end of Portal. That's not going to well either.

Now that it's only three more days to go (CET) I am tempted to call the speaking clock ten times an hour.

I didn't have SOMI:SE anyway, so I found this to be a great pre-order deal.
