Monkey Island soundtracks.
Well, now that the "Monkey Island Saga" is pretty much complete 
, just curious about what we all think of one of the best aspects of the series, the soundtracks. PICK THE FIRST ONE THAT COMES TO YOUR HEAD! I know they're all awesome, but is there one stuck on your mind at this moment?
What's your favourite track from Secret: Special Edition?
"The Scumm Bar" (Music in the first SE is equally awesome, but this is one of the better adaptations of the original tune in my opinion)
What's your favourite track from Revenge: Special Edition?
"I am your Brother." (Wonderful use of violins and making the tune sound epic, this may be the best moment of the Monkey Island series now thanks to the SE.
)
What's your favourite track from Curse?
"The Barbery Coast" (Curse has a strong soundtrack, but this one is one of the more memorable tracks to me, along with the best version of the MI Theme of course)
What's your favourite track from Escape?
"The Diving Contest" (Really stuck out on my last Escape playthrough, still haven't forgotten it!)
What's your favourite track from Tales?
"LeChuck Battle Begins" (The part after Morgan stabs LeChuck has an INCREDIBLE arrangement of Morgan's Theme, beautiful and adventurous, if adventure games were acceptable for the Oscars...)
What's your favourite soundtrack of the series?
Hmm....close but probably Curse. I think it's amazing that Land pulled all of that off on his own. Tales was wonderful too (made great use of existing themes), but the original tunes weren't as memorable as other games (though it's only just dawned on me how AWESOME that rendition of Morgan's Theme is in RotPG). So yeah, probably Curse for me.
What's your least favourite soundtrack of the series? If any.
Ooh, tough call. Tales or Escape.
I'm planning to make a CD of some of the best songs from the series and I'm just curious of the fan favourites.

Curse - uhm... uuuhh... eeeehhh... I caaan't really remember anything... Monkey Island Theme? (MI2 has my favorite MI theme though)
Escape - Lawyers Music
Tales - The Screaming Narwhal map music (that is prominent in Chap2)
Most favorite soundtrack - Escape (I think I'm really fond of each and every music sequence there... well, at least 90%).
Least favorite - dunno. I can say that I like Tales music less than it deserves because even non-SE-SoMI/LR music may actually sound better than it. Though some tunes are just great.
The violin on LeChuck's ship. It's even better in the SE, where they extended it.
What's your favourite track from Revenge: Special Edition?
Very difficult. It's between Rum Rodgers' Blow the Man Down, Stan's theme (in the SE), the creepy and slow version of LeChuck's theme in his fortress, the Bone Song (in the original), and the Tunnels.
What's your favourite track from Curse?
Again, very difficult. It's between the Barbery Coast, the five GoodSoup hotel themes, the Rollercoaster of Death, and the Credits.
What's your favourite track from Escape?
Stan's Theme. Escape has a really cool version of it, though Revenge's SE has an even better version.
What's your favourite track from Tales?
Again, very difficult. It's between Winslow's theme (especially in chapter 5), human LeChuck's theme, Club 41 during the catfight, and the themes from the Crossroads.
What's your favourite soundtrack of the series?
Curse. Though Revenge and Tales are just a bit behind it.
What's your least favourite soundtrack of the series?
Secret. Not really because the songs are bad, but there are only a few good and memorable songs in it (Scumm bar, LeChuck's ship, and the Caverns of Meat).
What's your favourite track from Secret: Special Edition?
I really liked the Monkey Island map overview tune for it has a cool jungle touch.
What's your favourite track from Revenge: Special Edition?
Oh, hard one. Scabb Island Beach is a really nice one.
What's your favourite track from Curse?
Blood Island: Map Overview & Elaine's clearing.
What's your favourite track from Escape?
The restyled Scumm Bar tune.
What's your favourite track from Tales?
The Morgan leitmotif and all its variations (especially in EP3, "Morgan's Moment" where we think she and Guybrush are gonna kiss.
What's your favourite soundtrack of the series?
Easy one: The Main Title. Simply the best (especially from CMI).
What's your least favourite soundtrack of the series?
There have been a few rather boring soundtracks in Tales (walking around the docks on Flotsam e.g.) but these really are exceptions.

I would have to say the Melee Island Map, and the Monkey Island Map, I also do like The Scumm Bar and the opening jingle after the credits though!

Much harder choice this time, but I always remember the Phatt Island Arrival song, which plays throughout the opening scene of Phatt Island up til Guybrush gets thrown into the Cell, it's just a brilliant piece. Another choice would be the Gambling Alley on Phatt Island. And I can't leave this section without mentioning the brilliant Cemetery themes on Scabb Island along with one of my fave parts of the game, Rapp Scallion, his theme in both the original and remake is just brilliant and full of emotion. And of course a mention going to Dinky Island, both Beach and Jungle (where were you in SE
What's your favourite track from Curse?
Ahh, it gets harder, Curse is a great soundtrack, and was a brilliant canvas for Micheal Land to take the whole thing on his own, with funding from LucasArts, to go wild, this allowed for a lot more unique and different styles in the soundtrack. So choosing my fave tracks here is a tough choice, I'm going to leave out the rendition of the main theme as many people will mention that. Stand out tracks for me are, Murray's Theme, Puerto Pollo, Jazzy Voodoo Theme, The Barber Coast, On the Ship, Blood Island Map, The Wreck of the Sea Cucumber, Goodsoup Hotel, The score for the cutscene where the Ghosts meet up with each other. Oh and the Thieves Cave of Skull Island. And just one more mention, that unknown song that plays in the intro for like five seconds that no one else seems to notice!!!
What's your favourite track from Escape?
Ahh easing up now, I still like a lot of tracks in this game though, my heart lies with the Micheal Land composed Melee Island parts more. So to start, my fave tracks from Escape are Outside the Governors Mansion, Melee Town, Talking with Carla and Otis, Arriving at Melee Docks, Lucre Island Map, Underwater Theme, Stans Theme, Boulder Beach (Technically this is a reworking of Thieves on Skull Island). Also would like to mention the Scumm Bar theme, not the default one, I think it would be the Bartender variation which sounds more booming and had bells.
What's your favourite track from Tales?
Sadly, the choices are easy here, as great as Tales is, the soundtrack didn't live up to much due to the limitations and shorts loops. I actually liked the Flotsam Town theme (And all you dare tell me you didn't think it was awesome when the Desinge/Pox Variation of it played during the end credits of Chapter 4 after LeChucks Return Theme!). Roe Island/De Cava's Theme, his theme was just brilliant with that hint of voodoo sound but also classic Monkey Island sounding. Spoon Isle Beach, an odd one that gets overlooked but this steel pan loop is too damn catchy. Spinner Cay was a nice calming theme, but to me, most of the worked on Tales went into the score for the cutscenes and action scenes. Swordfight on The Screaming Narwhal from the start of Episode 2 is brilliant, the many renditions of Morgan LeFlays theme are good (My fave being the slow brooding one from the start of Episode 4) and of course the many versions of LeChucks theme that plays throughout Episode 5.
What's your favourite soundtrack of the series?
I will say Curse on this one, LeChucks Revenge is very close but I think I like just a few more tracks from Curse and it gets credit for being brave enough, ..or well, having a big enough budget, to try different styles that would not have fit in a Monkey Island game before.
What's your least favourite soundtrack of the series?
Hmm, all the soundtracks are good in their own way, I want to say Secret mainly due to the lack of actual content overall, it has very few tracks as it is but of course it did give birth to LeChucks theme and the Monkey Island theme, BUT, they've since been bettered in the other games, so yeah, I'm going with Secret as the worst soundtrack, mainly due to the lack of continuity as well, such as the Circus theme, which you wouldn't really imagine in other Monkey Island games, the elusive Stan's Ship Yard theme, etc.
