I know this is off topic but Majus, think you'll ever make Lechucks Revenge flash?

When Ron finishes his story, I may celebrate it with that movie.

    We'll be waiting forever.

Proof at least! It is concept art of the interior of an unused "Giant Monkey Robot" idea, later reused for EMI.
    MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It reminds me of the inner circle of Atlantis in the Indy game.

Surely this is likely to be the missing "caves" room under the waterfall of Phatt Island, that was replaced with the mechanical tunnels from the ending in the final game? The area is clearly a cave, and the metal tower and pipes are similar in colouring to the pump at the top of the waterfall, suggesting this might be an underground extension of the machinery which keeps the water pumped up to the surface to create the waterfall and keep the river flowing.

The MI2 rolling demo has an internal reference to the existence of the "caves" room, as well as several LeChuck's Fortress areas not in the final game that seem to have names roughly matching some of the other unused art shown in the SE (the Voodoo room, different angles of the voodoo throne, close-up of LeChuck, etc.)

And even then, there's more interesting stuff in the unused art shown in the SE - like the earlier version of the Voodoo shack on a land-based dock, and a ship in dock, which both seem to be either concept work or from very early development.

EDIT: (BTW, loving the MI2-ised version of the "caves" room posted above - that's probably startlingly close to what it would have looked like in-game!)

Made me think of the inside of the giant monkey robot as well. Where exactly does this come from?

Yeah, me too. The way the floor goes is very similar to the first "room" in the Monkey head.

Thanks, McAleeCh, that theory makes sense. I now believe too that this is the missing waterfall-corridor.
