Weird! You'd think they would have caught that. That's pretty weak. We'll let them know! Thanks for the heads up.

Wierd how it turned black ten-twenty seconds earlier in the gametap version... This time, it made more sense :p

Yeah, that was what I meant. The video on Gametap stopped prematurely, not that it was the actual blackness on the actual video.

Heheh... bake a cake with a file in it. :D

Just like the one Martha Stewart used! :D

Just FYI, I had seen the Gametap Machinima and there weren't any problems with it (it's the same as the one on the Telltale site).

The one in the GameTap client seems to be correct, but the one on their website is the one people were seeing cut off early.

Hey, the seventh one just got up on GameTap...

But damn it! I dont think that I dare to click it, in case of some minor spoilers :p
  • edited February 2007
    Yeah, don't do it!

I'll wait until this Saturday after I play the episode several times before I watch the short.

It does feature a character introduced in episode 3, so you might want to hold off... but he doesn't really talk much at all so he wont be spoiling stuff if you do :)
  • edited February 2007
Go ahead and watch it; not only is it not spoilerish, but it's the funniest one yet. Classic Sam & Max.

With that reassurance, I did venture into watching the short, and I have to admit, it is the best one so far. I love Max's reaction to the word "rife," but I'm curious as to what he's doing with the boot. That, and at least now I know where they keep that butcher's knife from the E3 trailer.:D

Is it me, or did anyone else think Max #2's laugh sounded a little like Stitch from Disney?

I cannot agree more! If you've seen the screenshots released a while ago you won't be spoiled by this, and it's definitely the best one yet. A veritable bombardment of great jokes. Plus, it evinces the dark mood of the original comics better than the things we've seen so far, IMHO.

Okay, the 'Interrogation' machinima is awesome. Not to mention it seemed to have been penned by Steve Purcell (as mentioned on the blog).

    "Rife? Rife?!"
  • edited February 2007
I really laughed out loud at the last line, a real belly laugh

    Thanks Steve :D
  • edited February 2007
Yeah, that last line is funny.

    "
Life is like a truck full of pointy crap
    ."
  • edited February 2007
No it's not, it's way better than that! The line is actually
    "
Justice is a cruel, cruel truckload of pointy crap.
    "
(Sorry for the harsh nitpick but sheesh...:p)

    Egads I misquoted! D:

Misquoting Sam & Max is a crime punishable by Sam & Max.

    Or

    .

I'm absolutely certain I saw that Interim Theater short
with the alien and the brain
before, but for the life of me I can't remember where! Can anybody enlighten me?

It's been in a couple places on the internet in the past, including a flash animation site run by LucasArts veteran Gary Winnick, which is where it debuted.

I just watched machinima #8 at gametaps site :D Funny!
  • edited February 2007
Funny, yes, but it's a shame that short won't be part of the cannon of Season 1, thereby creating some interesting fun in Episode 4.

  • edited February 2007
That was the best one so far! :D :D :D I hope they keep the same voice actor for Max..he's awesome :)
  • edited February 2007
Max's voice is developing, and for the better.
  • edited February 2007
That short really made it clear how low-poly that cup is :p

"Clouds shaped like Russel Crowe..." Classic! :D
