This is not exactly BttF... but it's Time Travel. I want my Five Minutes Back.

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet or not. I didn't see it anywhere. This is pretty well edited and neat to watch. There is one particular error for where Marty is talking to his mother in the car and I was kind of hoping to see where Doc talking to himself fit in in the first movie, but nevertheless very cool stuff.

Wow he did a great job with that. Awesome work.

I have to admit that was done VERY well, any fan should watch that.
  • edited December 2010
yeah the filmmakers did a VERY good job recreating the shots and angles from part 1 in the sequel.

So today I watched a highlight video of my fav club(Barcelona) at school.

But...I couldn't help but notice it is brimmed with Back To The Future references. XD

Also for fellow football fans....Messi's goal at 4:30 is gold.

Last night Saturday Night Live did Back to the Future screen tests as one of their skits. I don't usually watch SNL, but I got a laugh out of them. If you're interested in seeing them, you can check them out here and here (sorry, US only. :().

Hey, I saw those last night too! Best skit in the show. The guy who did Eddie Murphy was really good.

That Alan Alda impersonation was FREAKY.

Not just a bit, it's AS freaky as hearing AJ do his MJF voice.
  • edited January 2011
Either you're a time traveler from the past or this is a rerun. Because this was posted a long time ago.

    ......................

...crap, I just looked it up, it's a rerun. But the weirdest part is that when I went on Hulu to grab the clips, they were on the front page. I didn't even have to look for them.

Note that in the first post I said "I don't usually watch SNL". :p

The Pee-Wee bit was absolutley priceless.
  • edited January 2011
    LOL! That was awesome.
  • edited January 2011
Wow I don't even recognize most of the performers its been so long since i've seen SNL. So not only is Kenan Thompson on SNL now but he is STILL doing is crappy Bill Cosby impression from All That?

Ya Hader as Alda is super freaky. It was almost as good as the Star Wars one years ago with Kevin Spacey as Christopher Walken as Han Solo lol.

Jon Hamm can't do Robin Williams, just can't.
  • edited January 2011
That is a pretty great Alan Alda voice.

Other than that I have nothing to say about those sketches except :/

    Hints to the plot:

Two fans of UFOs, Alex and Michael as they watch a documentary, are affected by news of a special edition of the newscast, we speak of a mysterious sighting, a sudden flash of light which caused several accidents in the evening in which the marina Brindisi is also a parade of high fashion.

Michael and Alex intrigued by the news they decide to travel to the location in which they find a bright object. The two walk to the center and receive a text message from a friend who said he saw a monstrous machine of a car salesman: This is a magnificent De Lorean.

The car has some damage to the engine, but Alex fan motors and the electronics engineer Michael refurbishing.

    The adventure begins!

    What do you think?

    Just heard a trailer for

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00xglbr

which features an episode doing jokes around time travel... apparently somewhat informed by "Back to the Future", whether or not those jokes actually made the final script....

Could be worth a listen, anyway. Even if you're not ready for it, your kids are gonna love it.....

Somebody made a comparison video of the Twin Pines mall scene from the game and movie:

Where my Fringe fans at?! Christopher Lloyd will be guest staring on Fringe tonight, be sure to catch it!
  • edited January 2011
Really? I can't wait till season 3's dvd comes out then ... I'm still watching the 1st season ...
  • edited January 2011
They cast Christopher Lloyd in a show about weird science... and didn't have him star as a weird scientist?
  • edited January 2011
Ya, it was funny he wasn't a scientist. There was a tiny homage to BttF since the episode is about a kid from 1985 traveling to the future (our present).

Great acting job by him though.
  • edited January 2011
Looking forward to seeing it. Fringe is my favorite current TV show.

On the other side, alternate Christopher Lloyd wouldn't know what Michael J. Fox has to do with Back to the Future.

Alternate Back to the Future would suck. The technology over there in 1985 was the same we had this decade. So, instead of a DeLorean, they'd build a time machine out of a Smart Car...

Doc: "When this baby hits 88 Miles an hour, you're gonna see some serious sh!t."
Marty: "Doc its a smart car, you'd be lucky if it made it past 50."
    Doc: "GREAT SCOTT!"
  • edited January 2011
A smart car would hit 88mph.... it would just need a couple miles of straight road. :p
  • edited January 2011
They wouldn't have doc doing deals with terrorists for time traveling fuel, either. He would make a hybrid delorean that runs on lollipops.

That's ignoring the fact that car's outside would have to be converted to stainless steel in order to withstand the flux dispersal.

just ductape some pans on the outside.

Well it is not back on Sky 1 just yet, but I will be looking forward to seeing this episode. I guess it will be on Sky 1 next Tuesday then? We are only days behind the US.
