Regarding Episode 2... (Spoilers)
1931 again? Really?
Now I know Episode 2 or 3 is typically the "bottle" episode (Meatball, Moai, Last Resort, Strong Badia, Spinner Cay and Max's Brain) so I can forgive the re-use to an extent, as long as we get more variety in episodes 3, 4 and 5. But we're not going to spend the entire season in the same time period with the same Marty outfit and same characters, are we?

And as has already been said, it's pretty clear later episodes are set in different time periods. I'm sure some of the later ones will even involve jumping between them to solve things.
HUUUUGE Luck.
In general regarding the TTG Duplicate Content Issue:
I'd rather pay 30$-40$ over 25$ for a proper Rich Content Hit the Road Sequel.
I hope the Universal Games boost the Telltale Budget and the Company goes from Indie to a Great Adventure Game Company. (First thing they should invest in tho is their WEB-Services an Launch Staff )
I also hope that they wont forget US who helped them a bit in the beginning. And that they would do us the kindness an give us proper sequels to Monkey Island and Sam and Max hit the Road. As they seemed to have managed with Back to the Future which from my point of view starts off as a great sequel to the movies.
"Proper" sequels? Jesus, take off your nostalgia goggles, man. Three seasons that are each longer, funnier and deeper than Hit the Road don't count as a "proper" sequel? A season that redefines the Monkey Island series, cutting out the tangled, confusing, inconsistent backstory in favour of re-capturing the classic atmosphere and developing and expanding the characters, doesn't count as a true sequel?
What on earth WOULD satisfy you?
if i had to guess I'd say that 1931 is going to become the point of divergence and will have to eventually returned to to fix things. There are other issues to look out for such as how teen doc deals with his newly changed views on science, ladies and his father.
That's right, maybe they wrote the story in order to give that feeling of BTTF2.
I trust this game
Great Scott you're right! So much for the 'evading two Martys' idea But yeah, 'Double Visions' seems to be a strange name. I've re-read the synopsis, and it says that Marty joins forces with First Citizen Brown... does that mean the 1985 Doc from the first episodes will be erased or that we will work with two grown-up Browns? (I mean, in 1985A there apparently were two Martys and two Docs, I suppose in 1986A there could be two Docs, at least for some time).
