MASSIVE SPOILER: Did Marty make a mistake with young Emmet?

After he gets the rocket drill I noticed what looked like Doc's future notebook (every failed experiment and eventually the Delorean blueprints) seemed to have been left behind. Is that the catalyst for Citizen Brown. (one of the reason's young Emmet was so gracious and willing to help.) Just watch carefully as Emmet notices some sketches and gives Marty a surprised glance.

    I didn't notice that bit. I'll have to keep my eye out for that when I go to replay the game at some point.

    But yeah... from the sound of it, it could be a catalyst for the 'First Citizen Brown' future.

    Uhm... I still don't see anything besides the rocket drill's blueprints (which is something young Doc should have). And Doc's notebook is in our inventory during the whole ending police truck sequence.
