I agree with all of these. They're awesome ideas for video games.
Some of my ideas:
-A video game (preferably for the Wii system, though I know TellTale doesn't usually do any Wii games) about free running. In case you don't know what
free running is here is a link, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_running. It would be different for most of TellTale's games, but I think they should start having more variety.
-Honey I shrunk the kids video game. Being the size of an ant can give a lot of cool ideas for a video game.
-A video game of Invader Zim. That show is awesome, and I noticed that a lot of people love it even thought the show is canceled. It'd be awesome for a video game of Invader Zim.
Star Trek [based on any series, including the new movie timeline (hopefully not TOS though, it's my least fav)]
Team Fortress 2
Bone
Star Trek
A good King's Quest game truly worthy of the franchise
H2G2
Monk
Quantum Leap
Knight Rider (the original series)
Star Trek
My first idea for a license is probably hard to get: Star Trek. I'm probably one of the few who remembers "Star Trek: 25th Anniversary" and "Star Trek: Judgment Rites" done by Interplay way back in the day.
I liked A Final Unity very much. The ship combat was hard (but still fun for me somehow), and I liked playing the game through multiple times on the harder difficulty because it would let you choose your own Away Team members (as each person has different dialogue.) Also, the storyline is good and definitely worthy of a being real multi-part TNG episode.
I totally agree! Quantum Leap would make a great episodic adventure game!
Scott and Dean couldnt say that they are to old either, since they only need their voices.
Looking back at the old Gerry and Sylvia Anderson puppet series, I think would be great for Telltale to create a series based on them. Such series which include:
*Thunderbirds
*Captain Scarlet
*Stingray
*Supercar
*Fireball XL5
*The Secret Service
*Joe90
I believe Telltale would make a great job on games based on these series. Well it would probably make amends to the last few media which they've released based on these.
I think what would be hilarious would be a King of The Hill game.. except the show's already done for...
Beavis and Butthead: Do U came out after the show was done. There is Mike Judge doing an adventure game after the show is done precedent! Though I'd rather another B&B game.
...why not have Telltale make a bid for a Simpsons game? I mean, let's face it, the adventure game format is a far better fit than any of the other genres that the franchise has been forced into over the years. Really, though, I would just like to see TheSimpsons written by someone other than modern-day Simpsons writers.
An even better franchise would be Futurama. It would fit wonderfully into Telltale's format, has a fanbase with obvious gamer overlap, and could provide interesting gameplay opportunities (each character could have different abilities, allowing for some Maniac Mansion-esque scenarios). With the show's triumphant return from the dead and almost no videogame presence to speak of (one unevenly received platformer), it seems that now would be a great time to bring in some well-executed new product.
Has this been suggested before? Any thoughts from other Telltale fans?
Futurama is probably one of the most suggested franchises here. I'm pretty sure Simpsons have been suggested more than once as well.
I'd probably buy a Futurama game since I love the series and there's practically no limit to what you could do with it story wise. Not sure about Simpsons though. I watch it when it's on tv and I have nothing better to do, but the series seems a bit like it's been milked for what it's worth by now.
a twin peaks meets lord of the rings meets the x-files meets star trek meets fear and loathing in las vegas meets the big lebowski meets kafka on the shore meets zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance meets the muppets kind of game

Prince of Persia, Mirror's Edge, Assassin's Creed, Infamous, etc. all have that as a pretty big element (in the first 2 cases, the core gameplay). Why would you want an adventure game company to do it?

becuase it's different from TellTale's normal games, and the more variety of games the more variety of customers.

That would be a very ambitious undertaking for a relatively small company like Telltale games. It's bound to spread their good adventure titles even further apart, if it means using current resources in writing and developing, as opposed hiring new people. I'm not sure if Telltale can afford to further alienate us longtime followers after BttF and JP. On second thought, they probably can, seeing how many new users there are on these forums now. It would have been interesting to see what kind of money they're making. Are those figures available to the public in the US?
Don't really know how TellTalely that would be... but since they showed to be willing to explore new territory, tone and action with Jurassic Park... and that in general they seem to want to assess themselves as "the company to go to have your license respected when turned into a game" (as per the gamasutra article of some time ago, for example)...
Well, long story short, I hereby confess my dream "licence" game would be: Masters of the Universe (aka MOTU aka He-Man).
Yes, seriously. I said it
Better if inserting elements from both the minicomics and the '80s animated series.
My dream TellTale game would be a Mortadelo y Filemón (Fred & Jeff, Clever & Smart, Mort & Phil, Paling & Ko, Mortadelo e Salaminho, Flip & Flop, Futt et Fil, etc...)
I think Telltale could get easily the sense of humor of the characters.
I don't know if they are wel known worldwide, but most of people knows them in many European countries, specifically in Spain and Germany, where adventure games are a beloved genre.
And their comic adventures are usually episodes within a bigger adventure, so if would fit perfectly the episodic format of Telltale's games
How 'bout Telltale make one of those 'find the hidden item' games that are so popular now. C'mon Telltale quit livin' in the past, no one wants adventure games anymore.

Was this in response to my post or muskrat's?
SingStar Adventures.
I mean, they have SingStar Guitar and SingStar Dance, right?

I never understood why the Sandman didn't take off like Batman, they were released around the same time they both have no superpowers and use gadgets.

Pick up women! Show off your sweet karate moves! Open a sweatshop! Tell Dee she looks like a bird! Do some Charlie work!
Who is the target audience?
Hardcore Police Academy fans who thinks computer games are lame.
fans of the everything saga
A South Park Game would also be nice.
Not only would it piss off everybody, it would piss off everybody.

Just an idea
It would be amazing if they dove into his years after the Young Indy Chronicles and before what we know him as in the movies.
It's undiscovered territories (although some books go into these years) they just aren't the same.
There is so much potential.

EDIT: I recently befallen in love with the present Masters of the Universe Classics line, and that rekindled my juvenile interest in the franchise :P http://www.mattycollector.com/store/matty/en_US/DisplaySubCategoryProductListPage/categoryID.12422000
EDIT 2: Also on Xbox360, please

You cant say no to this face TTG.
That would be cool, though couldn't we count S&M Season 3 as one?
