The Official (Combined) watched played BTTF over 1000 times.
Its here to stay. If you have seen all three movies and played through BTTF Ep 1 more than 1000 times don't be afraid to say so here! This is the place to declare your extreme BTTF mega-fan-dom. Not to be confused with the Jennifer Coma thread, which is in the process of being appreciated.

I've finished Ep. 1 about 10 times and I lost track of the times I've watched the Trilogy a long time ago.
i got to the end of the first level of the NES one. it was too hard and didn't make sense. I've played through the TTG version about...700 times. Was wondering if anyone was beating me.
Although I haven't visited Courthouse Square, I have experienced the Back to the future ride in Orlando, and seen the Time Train and Delorean there.
So far have only played through episode 1 once, but about to play it through a second time. I'm very pleased with the story so far and like that it's a large complex story arc, rather than individual episodic stories. That allows for more detail that I like to explore.
Really looking forward to the next episode!
Also, I didn't find the game to be a huge waste of my time. But then again, I guess I don't count as "everybody", since I don't agree with you.
BTTF2 was the first one I saw, then BTTF3 and for months I didn't see the first one until I was able to rent a TV-record on VHS from a friend of mine.
I can hardly imagine HOW I experienced the second and third film without the first one.
I also do not know how often I watched the movies but I guess more than 10 times each one. And the first game experience was 1994 on the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) with BTTFIII: a horrible game which was nearly unbeatable!
Since then I wished there will be another adoption of the franchise and I preferred the idea to actually roam around Hill Valley and be able to get to ANY time I want. And every time should provide several tasks the player can do and he even can prevent things to happen or interfere with oneself.
BTTF:HV seemed to really offer all these things until I noticed that meeting yourself or causing paradoxons is not possible simply because of a LACK of PROGRAM SPACE. It's an amazing modding project either!
Well and now there's Telltale which went another direction but I appreciate that very much and I am really looking forward to how this season of BTTF will develop!!!
Just like:
...is meant to say "Games in this series is for some reason actually worth playing more than once", my post is meant to say "Why bother?" I may have neglected to mention the films, but that's hardly a massive point against me. I can't really say how many times I've seen them. I love them, but they're not films I watch as much as, say, Star Wars or Fantasia when it comes down to it.
Just because you're used to and don't voice concern over being punched in the balls every day doesn't mean that, from an objective standpoint, you've been done no harm. Cellular damage can be quantified, much the same way one could look at the number of possible interactions possible at any given point in the game, how many hints are given for any given puzzle, and come to the conclusion through verifiable fact that the game simply does not let you do much out of fear that you'll get lost and scared.
FANTASIA? LOL!!!! Anyone that prefers Fantasia and criticizes BTTF, seriously WTF LOL!
I don't want to mean anything, nor I want to spark a heated discussion about anything between you two; but that was some tight ownage.
If people are curious about what my thoughts about that discussion, I'd like to answer markeres's signature with simply "I'd rather have a brilliant BTTF game than an easy BTTF game, because it's how you honor a good franchise".
If you explain the reason why it's so worth of lulz to compare the fun aspect of a movie with others, maybe me and some others can accompany you on lolling. But I have to say I see no point at the moment.
I completely agree with this, actually. As much as it may shock you (and believe me, it shocks me more) I agree with most of what you feel about the game. The main difference is, I didn't find it to be a worthless or overall bad game simply because the puzzles were lacking and there were copious hints. From what I can tell from some of your other posts, you feel bad gameplay automatically makes for a bad game (sorry if I'm simplifying your thoughts here, just the vibe I'm getting). I feel that there are many other qualities that work together to make a game good or bad, and that those other qualities can save a game from being out and out terrible if the gameplay itself isn't up to par.
Apologies for all of this thread diverting of my own I'm doing. Yes, I clearly see the irony. In an effort to get the thread back on track, I'd say I've probably seen the BTTF movies all together somewhere between 40-50 times (not all three movies equally, though), and I've played through the game fully twice, as well as gone back to scenes here and there to find dialogue I may have missed.
