I hope this out before the surgery on my torn right shoulder. I am right handed, so trying to play this would be difficult. My appt with the surgeon is on the 31st (prep and paperwork), so it would be a nice way to not think about things for a bit..
Glad it's not just me - I got all excited when I saw Steam said it was available..... only to find there was no install button to click after all lol! I remember with Monkey Island it was available for download from the Telltale site for a good while before it appeared on Steam on at least 1 occasion so assumed it was that at first.
Would you rather they set a release date, set an internal deadline a month earlier, and then just hold on to the completed game for a month? Or would you rather get to play the game a month sooner, as soon as it's finished?
I'd rather wait longer but know the release date long in advance. If I knew the release date in advance I could just tune out to the waiting and logon on release day (which is what used to happen in the early days). But now the closer it gets to the possible release day I keep coming to the forums hoping for a shred of information and always being disappointed. It's even worse now that there's a possibility of a surprise release. It could be out today, it could be out any day this week so I and I guess a lot of other people are going to be logging in several times a day hoping for a release. It's a terrible way of doing things, it would be better if they gave us some clue as to how they're getting on. They know right now if it'll be out today but will they put us out of our misery? No.
Sign up for mail notification then, you check your mail several times a day anyway I'd guess. And if not, you'll still know soon enough. Strange attitude nowadays.. everybody wants to know everything the moment it happens, not even a second later!

Well they sometimes don't send out the email until hours after release and it's telltale's fault for me having such trouble with waiting, if their games weren't so good I wouldn't care so much!
Anyway my main argument is if they gave us the release date then I wouldn't even have to think about the game until that day whereas now I'll checking for any sort of update over and over until it's released. I'm not the only one doing this either.

At least the midnight surprise release is ruled out for Monday now!
Seriously, don't make it more of a hassle than it really is. The game can not be released "any day this week" (Saturday and Sunday are out, and Friday too, because that wouldn't be March any more), and that gives us a slim window of the next 88 hours and 15 minutes in which the next episode will be released.
TTG have put fewer and fewer release date "warnings" out there with every released season. It's quite probable that they're sticking with what works best...
Hmmm... this begging for a release date is almost as annoying as not having one, I can almost see how Telltale feels! C'mon guys, give em a break, this cant happen every month or else were all gonna be sitting, refreshing, and crying at the same time for the rest of the season and through the Jurassic Park season! Its within three days it seems like, so just go out and get some fresh air and refresh on your phone while taking a jog!

Well I meant weekday as they don't release on weekends and it could be Friday for me as I'm in the UK.

Or what's easiest or it may be because they don't want to get in the way of their Jurassic Park adverts, it could be many reasons. But I don't buy that it's what works best for us.

I wish I could but I'm trying to get some revision done but at the moment this is proving too distracting...
I think it's meant to be out already, but there is a problem with their servers or something because I can choose the language for the ep, but can't actually download it.

It's been that way for days, it doesn't mean much of anything really, just that they are prepared on that end for it.
When i checked on 'Yours Games' to see if the third episode was avalible. But the launguage bar is there. So that means it's avalible (is it?) but some sort of glitch. Anyone expericening this?
No one! Absolutely no one! You're the first!! REALLY!

good job with the forum by the way, glad all the relase discussion gets put into one thread instead of dozens of "when is it coming out' threads
Not sure if it is important or not, but I just checked my Steam game page and Episode 3 is no longer in my list, but 4 and 5 are, still blacked out but are there. Maybe this means they are uploading 3 now?

Just a thought
I also noticed earlier (as did others) on the BTTF page on Steam episode three is listed as 'Now Available' instead of March and the top right part of the page has just changed from episode 2 as the latest release to episode 3. So either it's a mistake on Steam’s part or the game is being released at some point today.

Awesome.
Then there is hope for a release today. *fingers crossed*
I purchased Back to the Future when it first became available on Steam and Episode 1 & 2 downloaded just fine. The Steam store page for BTTF has been showing Episode 3 is available but it doesn't download. Today, I don't even see Episode 3 in my list of games; just 1, 2, 4 and 5.

I am sorry you have to go through surgery. I went through heart surgery when I was 8 so I kind of know how you feel. I will pray for you.
With him not doing that or looking at it means he is either busy getting the site ready or does not want to spoil it or knows its going on today!!! Any way it is more possible the more he avoids this today! Past and/or future here I come!!!

Good point.
I like your profile pic.
I wanna play that series with better graphics or a sequal.
But I need to sleep now!
It's 12:15 am tuesday in hong kong!
It's been that way since Friday. It just means they're preparing for launch this week.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
Alan hasn't even peeked into this forum today. Bad sign concerning today's release.
something that hasn't happened yet can still happen later on.
