So, could we possibly be looking at a release date sometime next week? Maybe the 14th/15th? And, then have Episode 5 release on May 14/15 to tie in with the in-universe date?

I don't think so. Playtests are mainly for searching for bugs and other problems and try to solve them before the launching. If the play test is tomorrow, they probably won't have enough time to fix the bugs and all that before 14th/15. maybe the week after, for a tuesday release the 19th. But I think that tuesday 26th is more likely

and maybe they will only test a part of the episode because of possible spoilers / story leaks.
I think Jurassic Park E1 will come out first, later BTTF E4.
At most 20 more days until Double Visions releases
less actually; the last day of april is a saturday so the latest it can possibly be released is the 19th. I dont mind the wait, I'm already heavily anticipating episode 5 so the shorter that wait is, the better.
Why are they so behind like that or is it like that with all games stations?
The PS3 requires a separate build, testing and submitting to sony. That's why it takes a little longer.

PS3 is an episode behind PC/Mac, and has been that way since the first episode was originally released. Episode 1 for PC/Mac was released in December, with Episode 2 coming out in February. Episode 1 for PS3 was released in February (due largely in part to the fact that PSN has the final say in when it's released for PS3, not Telltale) and Episode 2 was just released in March. So the short answer is, the PS3 versions are behind because the approval process takes longer, since it has to go through a middleman, essentially, whereas Telltale can release the game directly to PC/Mac the second it's completed.
The PS3 episode 3 will be available on either the 12th, 19th or the 26th. (All days the store updates.) I have a feeling it will be the 19th which is bad for me as Portal 2 is out around then. tomorrow would be super sweet but the 26th would workout the best for me.
Edit: Actually the 19th would be fine, lets face it i will have the episode beat the night it goes live...
Can't say that I am. I'm actually pretty relaxed regarding the release.
Good things come to those who wait, as they say.
Also, I still have more than enough games to play until they release BttF4 or JP1...
doesn't bother me as I have alot on my plate right now.
1. College classes nearly finished
2. Fringe Season Three - the Final Four Episodes of the Season (you should check this series out, Christopher Lloyd even guest starred in January. And, Dr. Walter Bishop is as mad as Doc Brown)
3. Doctor Who Series 6 premieres on the 23rd (this series is going to be epic, you should check this series out too if you like BTTF, you are going to LOOOOOVE this one)
4. Easter Weekend (along with the Doctor Who premiere)
5. Work on the weekends
6. Michael Scott's departure on the Office at the end of the month... (it's going to very sad...)
Yeah, I'm totally cool with the release schedule so far. I'm busier than a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest. So, in a way, that's good! When the episode's released, it will be my reward for completing a busy week. Huzzah!
Then again, I've been a Telltale fan since the Bone days, so I'm used to the 'once a month' pattern.

So..bad things come to those that DONT wait. Now I'm scart!!
I've mentioned this before but episode 4 should be the easiest of the 5 for them to make; episode 3 had an entirely new setting and required completely new designs for all the characters except for Marty (and to a lesser extent Edna, George and Biff). Episode 2 had less but they still needed to design the 1986 settings, and basically all the spots shown in 1931 aside from the courtyard (that was the only setting that was re used from the first episode)
episode 4 will at least have the same settings and characters that we had seen in the first 3 episodes (FCB 1986 and 1931).
Anyone else think it will be Wednesday, the 27th? It seems a bit farfetched, but there's a logic behind it. The episodes have come out in frequently shorter amounts of time: by twelve days a period, to be exact. Episode 1 to Episode 2 was 54 days. Ep 2 to Ep 3 was 42 days. So if they follow this pattern, an go 30 days, then Ep 4 would release on 27th.

Look, we don't know that a for a fact. For all we know, they could have a ton of new stuff in Episode 4. But more importantly, I don't believe that's the issue. They have to release both Jurassic Park AND BTTF this month. I believe that will likely strain the servers.

Or something.
I wouldn't count on "patterns" this month. Why? Jurassic is coming out this month. If they release both in the same week, that would be heavy burden. My guess is they will release one or the other one to two weeks earlier than the other... so, this week (unlikely, especially for BTTF), or the next week (more likely), we will see either Jurassic Park or a new BTTF episode, but not both, and the other at the last week.
They will surprise me if they release both extremely close, and if they release both at the last week. That would take up so much bandwidth, it wouldn't be funny.

With that said, in the future please check either:

Release date discussions (merged threads) as I promise you somebody has already asked your question, and someone has subsequently answered it
sorry typo

Thanks for the count down. Since I stopped being able to buy food, the anticipation for episode 4 is the only thing that keeps me alive!!!
AKA 13 eligible release days to go.
Thats even more optimistic but unspecific! Good job!!
I aim to please.
That being said, I can't see them releasing both in the same week-I wonder if that will cause a serious strain on their server.
Oh, it most certainly will. Hopefully the demo for JP won't take too long.
