Frame Rate Issue

I've been playing the games on max settings and have noticed that I am only getting 20fps on average. The odd thing is that my system should easily be able to handle this game at max settings with 60fps. (I can handle games like FEAR 3 at max settings with and get between 40fps and 60fps easy).

My system specs:
AMD Phenom 940 x4 OCed to 3.38ghz
4gb memory
AMD 6850 OCed to 882mhz core, 1190mhz memory

Is this game really that hard on the system or is there just a bug in the game? I looked through the forums and saw a few others complain of the same problem but did not see any fixes or explanations...

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

    Same here. I can run games on max settings without any problems, but not BTTF and Tales of Monkey Island. That's odd, because most of other games have better graphics and higher settings.

    Must be a flaw/bad algorithm in the programming in the game.

    The game isn't too well optimized.
