The Real Life Nelson Tethers?

Will Shortz was born and raised on an Arabian horse farm in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Graduating from Indiana University in 1974, he is the only person known to hold a college degree in enigmatology, the study of puzzles.

    The first puzzle is that if he's the only person with a degree in enigmatology, who was qualified to teach the classes??

    Never heard of those "build your own major" options? Usually a mix of classes for other majors, plus some independent studies.
