iPhone version VS iPad HD version?

Hi all:

Can someone highlight for me what is the quality difference between TOMI for iPhone ($4.99) and the iPad's HD version ($6.99)?

Can i buy the iphone version and play on my ipad2, since it's cheaper? Would i be missing out on anything?

Why the price difference too? Thanks!

    iPhone only ( not universal ) apps are upscaled 2x when run on an iPad, so it will not fill the screen completely, and will look horribly pixelated. Also, the interface of the iPad app is much better for that screen size.

    If price is an issue, these apps are discounted from time to time, so if you wait you could be able to grab the iPad app even cheaper than the iPhone app is now
