Noob question

I'm new to steam and playing games on a Mac so please excuse the dumb question...but I'm currently playing The Walking Dead on a Mac and am stuck in the backyard just after the car crash. I go to the glass door and click/look, and then nothing. I can't seem to get in. Can someone have mercy and help a poor clueless noob? Thank you!

    If you don't have a mouse wheel to select between actions (white=active/greyed=unselected), you can use the keyboard numbers 1, 2, 3.
    For the decisions you make on the dialogues you also use the numbers.
