Spikes during cut-scenes + spoiler

edited April 2012 in The Walking Dead
Hi, during certain cut-scenes my game suffers from spikes. The picture will freeze for about half a second and go back to normal repeatedly. During actual gameplay or the majority of the game like these click or button mash scenes it runs ok.

Major cut-scenes that are affected:

-)him running threw the woods after encountering more walkers
-)during the drive to the farm
-)the scene in macon where the zombies attack and in the following discussion
-)scene before and after the motor inn
-)the part where the zombies break in
-)part where the asian guy drives away

My system specs:

16gb of ddr3 ram 1600mhz @ 11-11-11-28
amd radeon 7950 stock clocks in cf with custom cooling
2x 1tb satas in raid0 stripping
intel 3930k cpu ocd to 4037ghz

and yeah thats pretty much all that matters i think, if you'll need more i can provide you that.

On top of that im playing max details in 1920x1200

Solutions i tried:
-)amd catalyst center putting AA to default (as the software needs it)
-)updating drivers to latest build
-)lowering resolution and grade of detail
-)sacrificing chicken and lambs to various gods
-)reinstalling the software multiple times

Thanks for your attention and please help here, since I like the game and i'm concerned i'll miss key moments during some cut-scenes in the future episodes :(

PS: i tried that too: (from the faq)

I'm using an ATI card and the performance is choppy in the woods in the beginning.

This is a known issue with the ATI drivers. You can temporarily turn shadows off in the options menu of the game to resolve this. Once you're through that portion of the game, you can change your shadow settings back to what they were.

Needless to say it didn't work

    Vsync for life!

In all serious, I always turn on Vsync, and if I can, Triple Buffering as well.
