New episode idea?

edited June 2012 in The Walking Dead
I would love it if TTG made an unconnected episode that could be purchased seperately just so they can have TV show Lori in the game so players can choose to let her die. Who doesnt hate that frowning moaning b**** TTG could make a lot of money letting people choose to save larry over her. And maybe even a....Dare I say it...Clem/Carl Choose who dies. Now thats a toughie. It doesnt even have to tie in with either show or comic it could just be fun.

Eh at this point you'd be better off just getting a game like fallout and having someone make you a Walking Dead Mod. Seems pointless to make a game just to kill people who annoy you

Fallout isnt TWD though. It wouldn't look, feel or play the same. And the money telltale could make on an episode like that isnt pointless.

I have noticed CapnJay and the other one Milo never really say anything that make people feel included or welcome in this forum.

So I'm the bad guy for saying it's pointless to make an episode dedicated to killing one character? Wouldn't it be better to ask for a season 2 that focuses around ricks group so you can make these decisions? There's plenty of characters on tv I hate but i don't ask for games to be made to kill them.

    actually we do sometimes

BUT when people come on here spout the same old done to death comments like they have never seen others post the exact same thing (some haven't) and clearly not using the search function or just taking a few extra minutes to look at the current threads, which actually do contain the information they seek.

    and the abuse and trolling...

If someone comes on here and shows they have done the research and have some valid points to make and does it calmly i will welcome them..

but ever since ep2 was not out at the end of may (not long i know) there is a lot of ttg bashing and it's gets to a point where things just keep on repeating..over and over no end in sight and it's being blown way out of proportion by stupid lame jokes that some people will believe...

Then dont read the comments if they cause you so much upset. These forums are here for people to discuss ideas and voice their opinions. If you dont like what people are saying either move past the post or dont read the thread. Simples

Don't see the point of this an unconnected episode that is connected to a tv show just to kill people off. would get pretty boring also would there be anyone left alive.

Yeah Lori annoys me too but the video game is in the same universe as the comics.
Read the comics, it might satisfy your 'Lori hating' wants. She isn't so bad in the comics, but is still annoying.

I have read the comics. I am indeed an obsessive TWD fan. Team Carl!!!! I just thought it would be good for a daft game that is not unconnected I think i used a wrong word fo it in my first post. I meant maybe connected to both mostly so we can choose between characters in comic/game world and tv world. It would probably be hard to write a story like that that made sense but does it really need to? A lot of sam and max had surreal scenes. Seeing a spanish guitarist appear randomly from nowhere and fish swimming past the office window were my favourite parts. Im probably just a bit strange though. Haha. It would be good to hear other ideas. I bet people on this forums have loads. Come on, it all passes the time til ep2

I hated left for dead I thought it was repetetive. It still would be nowhere near the same game. I prefer graphics and gameplay more in The Walking Dead game than any other game ive played for a long time. I think you have hit the nail on the head with the mod idea though. A crazy mod for the game would be interesting.

It made me laugh when I tried to show my gf what lori looked like in the comics and every picture had her with a scowl or a frown on her face. I was trying to point out to her that lori in the comics isnt as bad but ended up proving my gf's point instead haha

I think Lori was upset in the comics because she knew that Tony Moore would take too bloody long to finish his story arc. Sadly...I think Tony Moore was the best artist for the Walking Dead book. The other guy is kind of lazy...lets all his blacks sort of bleed everywhere so he doesn't have to put as much detail in the characters.

    ANYWAY...

The TV show Walking Dead is totally different than the comic...totally different existence. It's sort of like how DC used to have those Infinity Worlds or whatever where there was a different Batman in like a bagillion schmillion different universes and some of them were quite different.

I don't get why people want to kill people though...I mean that seems a bit twisted to me. I realize you want to kill the "character" and not the actor/actress or whatever, but still, man.

A parody of the Walking Dead would be interesting though. The Stalking Dead maybe...where you had an episode where you were a creeper zombie and you kept trying to eat characters on the show...and seeing them in some of their more intense, embarassing, sexy moments. Oh yeah. DALE WATCHU DOIN IN THERE WITH...ANDREA! DEAR GOD, WOMAN! That man can be your grandfather! Oh well...I'm a zombie. OM NOM NOM NOM!

Haha I take your point perhaps I was being over the top saying KILL Lori. I dont think anyone deserves to die twice (except zombies of course) I like your idea of playing the zombie. maybe getting to understand a little about the plight of the zombie a kind of Letters from Iwo Jima for the undead.

Im not too sure on who the artists are but i think my favourite are the more cartoony issues around the start about issue 10. They seemed more detailed and just pleasing to look at

Yeah I mean with Larry I don't want him dead, but if he doesn't like me he can pretty much piss off. I always think there is nothing bad about having some conflict between characters in the group. Lori is pretty much an essential character for the certain amount of volumes in the comic, but she is such a one dimensional character that it is the complete opposite of likeable (well in TV show, she had her moments in the comics).

I loved Dale's relationship with Amy/Andrea in Season 1 of the TV series, the way he was sort of a dad to them. Shame what happened between him and Andrea and that he died, I felt like there was a lot more they could have done with them. I was surprised as hell when him and Andrea were together iin the comics.
