pure genius! making a new account then only posting in the same thread that got you banned in..and then continuing your spam/rage...like nothing happened..

i think an ip ban is needed..

in keeping with the laws of the thread my opinion of ttg is still awesome.

Wait, I think there was some discussion of "zombie muppets" in the "To Do List" thread. Beaker as a zombie has potential.

I loved Sam and Max series, enjoyed the Jurassic Park game, I am really enjoying Walking Dead. So I have mostly praise for TTG. Sure I wish I had next episode, but that does not change the fact, that I am enjoying when I play.

You know for a bit there I thought unsatisfied customers were getting ganged up on these forums and it REALLY pissed me off. After lurking a bit more I see people like you stir the pot, spew nonsense, and act downright childish. This makes it impossible for people with legit complaints to air their views without being mistaken for another one of you.

Seriously just stop, you look foolish. Thats coming from someone who is unhappy with telltale and their product thus far....

Considering how many times I've already played through episodes 1 and 2, just checking out options, I've already gotten my money's worth. There are very few games I play more than once or twice. If the company rolled under overnight without finishing the story, then I'd be upset.
You know for a bit there I thought unsatisfied customers were getting ganged up on these forums and it REALLY pissed me off.

It goes both ways. There's a growing sense of "us and them" on this board and quite a few "unsatisfied customers" seem to be taking out their frustrations on other members.

You should probably read the books, because this game is definately not the most immersive experience of The Walking Dead universe so far, not by a long shot.

I'm not much on reading books or comics usually. The main reason I haven't read the comics is because it would spoil the show for me.

For me, being able to make decisions that change the outcome of the story makes it more immersive than just reading a static plot.

One of the few books I've read from front to back for entertainment would have to be a goosebumps book from my childhood where I got to make choices and then go to a specific page from there, which made the story "my own."

This is something you can't really get from the comic or the TV show.

Yeah, we talked about Choose Your Own Adventures in another thread. "Give Yourself Goosebumps" was pretty much the same thing, but I read a lot less of them.

I don't like the TV show of Walking Dead anywhere near as much as I like the comic. If you want to compare the two, read issues 1-24 of the comic and see how it holds up to the show. I hate every direction the show goes different than the comic. I'd actually like to hear the opinion of someone who saw the show first (I saw the pilot and immediately switched to the comics).

Episode 3 will be epic, its worth the wait. Though I must confess, reading all the comments from angry customers has been a bit entertaining.:D

Well one thing isnt helping cause the more we bitch and complain about a release date just show s tt that they accomplished what they intended they know we want it and we want it now so in their eyes thats a good thing now if the forums went silent and nobody bitched then tt would know they did something wrong.

i chose to get the Metal Gear Solid HD collection over waiting for Episode 3. I now only have 390 points to get a 400 point game. So i think thats pretty self explanatory

I completely agree with you on people's frustration being absolutely entertaining!
I'm waiting for the release of episode 2; I came to the forum to get an ERD. I have been laughing for hours, so thank you telltale games!
This entertainment was 100% free and even though I didn't get to choose my own adventure, the banned characters have been hilariously unique and inventive! 3x cheers!!

Will I be banned now for using too many exclamation points or does that only happen if I double post more than once in the same thread?

Come on now. Maybe you won't pay for the season pass again BUT.. When that finished Season 2 product is sitting there saying "come on, play me" are you going to be able to turn it down?

    I know I wouldn't

    It's Hazl! Get her!

Naw, Hazl was pretty monosyllabic and usually could only manage one sentence posts, two if she was feeling really articulate.

I have visions of her bouncing from one computer to another in a public library, cackling at how clever she is.

*slightly offended* no, scratch that *sobbing uncontrollably*

I never imagined that my far more articulate post could have ever been confused with the ramblings of what appeared to be someone suffering from a methamphetamine psychosis.

I love TTG. I don't mind the bugs or the delays. They have wonderful, active, friendly, and (most importantly) helpful staff. I'm willing to put up with minor inconveniences because the games are great and the staff is amazing. Do I wish TWDG episodes came out on time and were bug-free? Yep. But I love TTG as it is, and I love TWDG episodes as they are. Bugs don't mess with me too much, anyway. I'm running the epis on a computer with an outdated graphics card. I have to enjoy it the way it is :P lol. I don't hold anything against TTG because they push the release date back to make sure the game is as perfect as it can be before release. And I don't mind that they are willing to hear feedback about it, and love that they work to fix bugs quickly.

Hi. My name is Sal. I play the forum poster Master of Aeons. You may know me from previous routines as "Hey, Knock That Off" and "It's Hazl, Get Her!" I'd like to remind you that the segments that I perform on this forum are for entertainment purposes only and are not based on people living or dead. If you can't tell the difference between when I'm in character and when I'm not, remember this handy device. My character, Master of Aeons is bald. I, the actor, am also bald. Now you can tell us apa - AHHHH! It's Hazl! Get her!

I wish I learned about this game around Ep 4 instead of Ep 1
VG makers/publishers dont value their customer like other manufacturers do.
Maybe because they think they're dealing with kids/ kids with daddy's CCs...
Either way, they are typical industry: 'Release it when it's ready and patch it up later'
Deadlines and professional business practices dont seem to apply to this industry
  • edited August 2012
See, now that's a valid point. I hate that you can't get a solid release anymore. Most everything gets a patch later or a rerelease. That or a handwave and the game is left as is. Episode 2 wasn't too bad, but there were some definite problem areas. Epic Mickey was a pretty bad rush job. Nothing that they wanted to do was noticable in the final version. It was nearly unplayable.

Telltale has never made anything that bad, in my eyes. As of now they've only had one bug that kept me from playing. I don't mind release pushbacks though. They're par for the course. So long as nothing is ever indefinitely held, I can wait. I'd rather have something I can love playing than an immediate object in my hands.
