Episode 2 problem, PELASE HELP.

I am playing The Walking Dead on pc.
I finished Episode 1, and when I go to play Episode 2, it says "Coming soon!"
I purchased the full game, so this makes no sense.
I've tried updating the game, I've had Steam check for corrupted files, I've restarted my computer, I've tried everything you can think of except reinstalling the actual game. Which I want to avoid since I don't want to loose my saves.
So my questions are...
1. Has anyone else had this problem?
2. Does anyone have a solution?
3. If I have this problem now, will I have it again when Episode 3 comes out?
4. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening in the future?

    where did you purchase it from ?

    you say steam, was this via a ttg supplied steam code?

    can you give us a screen capture of your steam library and in game of ep2 via the save slot menu

    your saves are in the documents folder cut / copy and paste them on to your desktop to keep them safe from the re install

    I purchased it on Steam. As in I clicked "Add to cart" on the steam app and purchased it.
    I'm not sure what a ttg code is. I will assume it is one of those codes you get inside video game boxes and it was not via one of those.

    When I hit continue, it runs the last part you could play, where Glenn leaves to Atlanta. Then once it finishes it shows a trailer to the next Episode of WD game. Then credits roll. After credits it returns me to either the main menu or the game save area I screen shot-ed about. I can't remember which.

    I'll reinstall tomorrow while I'm at work if no one can help me... It just seems weird that no one has had this problem before. I've been googling like CRAZY and no one has had any issue like this.

    by the looks of it you only have ep1. when you go in to a save slot can you select other episodes or is it just ep1 ? there should be arrows allowing you to choose between episodes on the top either side of the episode title.

    how much did you pay ?

    also there are pictures missing from the episode status page, so it maybe a bad install or video card driver issue, it's worth using steam to update them if you use an ati/amd card or use nvidia/geforce website to check.

    so check your graphics drivers and if that don't work then re install the game

    I Also paid £20:99 (u.k) to Steam for full rights to all episodes when they become ready..But after completing Episode 1 ..I cannot play or even see where I can download Episode 2.
    I am using a P.c and all updates are completed (Steam & video graphics) and even Steam have "The Walking Dead " as "You own this Game" listed in my game catalogue ???
    Has this even been released for the p.c in the United Kingdom yet ???
    Any help from anyone would be gratefully accepted ...

    yes dennis ep2 should be available i am in the uk and have played the first two episodes

    go to support forum and post up

    steam should auto update each time a new episode in season 1 is available and you pick your ep1 save slot and continue by the arrows on the title page to select the episode to play.

    check your graphics drivers and if that don't work then re install the game

    Okay, I know this is old. But I updated my drivers and reinstalled the game. And it STILL says "Epsiode 2 coming soon!"
    But Steam is now advertising "Episode 2 now available!"
    I really don't understand what is wrong with this game, but thanks for the help Milosuperspesh.
    I really enjoyed the game so far too...

    gimme via pm your steam id and i could try and help you online

    my current install is 450mb check out your properties tab and tell me what size yours is

    also try changing the resolution to see if that gives you the options

    It says 450 MB.
    Tried changing resolution 3 times, still nothing. :\

    Despite the obvious graphical corruption, that screen shot does show that Episode 2 is installed. There's no Installed tag for Episode 1. Looks more like an issue with either faulty video card drivers or a system that doesn't meet the minimum requirements.
