You mean you chose "brought up Lee's history of murder in front of the girl he's trying to protect" queen of social skills?
Doug is nice, and he is useful. I don't think we need to be judging people based upon what their lives were like before the zombie apocalypse, and I think Lee would be inclined to agree.
She told Lee she knew who he was and that it wasnt a problem.
Perhaps not the perfect timing, but on the other side they are all sitting in a drugstore with lots of people and this was the only time the 2(or 3) was alone.
Still, you would want DOUG to raise Clementine?
The decisions of some posters really doesnt make much sense.
What does Doug know about 8 year old girls? He was living in his uncles basement for a reason you know. Doug has problably never even been with a girl and got ZERO experience in that area. Imagine Doug having those intimate conversations with Clementine?
I think Carley and Clementine could become the Andrea/Amy type of "sisters".
And Carley is a good role modell in this situation.

I Will not make a a joke about Doug , Basements, and eight year old girls.
You would have mister "i live in my uncles basement" raise a 8 year old girl? Haha!
Remove Carley's gun and she still got social skills that Doug lack.
I'd take Doug over Carley any day of the week. From what Carley said, he's a hero. Who wouldn't want a hero with the body mass index of a whale raising kids?

Imagine Doug talking to Clementine about menstruation, when she starts asking questions.
Awesome!
Clem if you're watching this, don't worry sweetie I'm getting your thread back on track.:D
I have tried, in the short time that Ive known you, to teach you that you can survive while maintaining your humanity. You and Duck are the future. If the human race is to survive we must never lose faith in mankind. I may be gone in the physical sense but I will always be with you, keep me in your heart Clementine. NEVER lose faith honey and remember, You were my only family and I love you, Goodbye Clem.

Just had a thought - if Lee was the "silent Lee", going on and on in a video for Clementine seems a bit off-character. lol. He's pretty tight lipped, that Lee.
Before I write my Clembituary, I just want to say a couple of things. Firstly, I love SotC and never managed to finish it (I was young and inexperienced) . Secondly, I'm a trope addict (too much time on TV Tropes) so I'm glad to see I'm not alone. Lastly, Chainsaw + Blonde Woman + Pink Clothing + Candy Theme = License to Print Money (although I do lament no PC release, as of the last time I checked) . Thank you, I shall now play the recording.
"Clem, honey, if you're watching this, I'm dead and a trusted member of our group has given you this. Although, I could have done a Gandalf and come back as Lee the White, but as you won't understand the reference, nevermind that. Clementine, you're the daughter I always wanted to have. You're intelligent, perceptive, a survivalist - you've got a lot going for you. Don't let that go to your head, okay? If you get cocky, you take risks; if you take risks, you die. I know that you'll make the right descision when it comes to who to stand by and protect you (until you can protect yourself) . Now, assuming you don't get killed in the first ten minutes, you'll grow up to be beautiful young woman, and with the traits and skills you have, you'll be in high demand, so choose your partner wisely. Remember, be polite, don't kill unless you have to, and do things for the group; the only time you should hesitate and assess the risk is when it puts you or those you care about in danger. Right, everyone'll be waking up soon, so I'll stop lecturing you. Goodbye, Clementine. I love you."

Clem: "Wow! A video from Lee! Just what I need for guidance!"
Lee's Recording: "..."
Lee looks at the camera, shifts, wrinkles his brow, nods. Turns off the camera.

Hahahaha... I can imagine that happening, really. Either that, or he'd mumble something awkward in about 2 sentences.

This thread has become permanently derailed
Appears that way... But at this point I think clem could live without lee, give it a couple more episodes so they get closer

impressive
If Duck's still alive, it's okay to leave him to die. Just wait until he's being loud and then outrun him.
Oh and stop licking saltlicks. Grragh! Urrrggggh! Brains...

not really mine was better lol
