(Ep.2 SPOILERS!) Did anyone actually kill the St. John. Brothers?
I know the majority of you didn't kill the St. John. Brothers, but I was wondering if anyone did? To be honest, I did. It thought it wouldn't matter if they were dead or not, they would still be walker bait. I wanted the brothers to have a taste of their own medicine. Who knows all the people they killed? Seeing all the blood in the slaughter room tells me they killed a lot of people.
The St. John. brothers planned on killing the group, and I just couldn't let such threats live on. I don't care the circumstances. The only regret I have for killing the St. John. Farmers is how it affected Clementine. I hate for Clementine to see me killing both brothers. I wonder how much it really affects her later on in the episodes. My Lee would do anything for the sake of the groups survival, and killing the Brothers assured the safety to the group that much more to me, even if they were very weak and trapped. Having them killed gave me a feelings that no one else can be affected by them again. So what are your guys take on this?

What??? You didn't kill them??? Are you an idiot conservative lizard???
I feel any option should be a negative one in this case. However sparing Andy and Dan makes you seem more heroic in the eyes of Clem. Why exactly does that happen when you've killed their mother, left one in a bear trap and the other beaten, bloodied and demoralized as walkers take over the entire property?
You've sentenced them to death or at the very least destroyed everything they once had in one fell swoop which in its' own right would likely bring about their premature deaths. It might have been necessary but hardly what I would consider heroic. Perhaps I'm putting to much Goku in my Lee or something.
Does it really count as killing her when she walks into the mouth of a walker?
I'm sure the forums greatest arguers could present a legal case one why it is and isn't lees fault
Really? A link to the threads would be nice.
It actually doesn't. Lee was lucky enough to have Marks walker come in just in time. So technically, you didn't kill her, Marks walker did. You just lured her in.

I do believe that this was the first thread about the brothers. Can't find the other one, though.
Thank you. Well I made a thread and shared my opinion. Well, the guy who made this thread was single minded and came off as arrogant in his post. I'd say I'm a bit more generous in my post. I'm just sharing my reasons why I killed the brothers. Not getting pissed at the people who didn't kill them.
I think the main reason people didn't kill them was because of Clementine. They didn't want Clementine to witness him kill them. Another reason I think, is because people aren't going to lose their humanity and kill someone in this 'new' world, which I can argue with, but hey that's an opinion others have.
I consider it a kill as well as the others. Only you don't have to be subtle about it because Clem isn't there to see it, let alone anyone else.
You either get shot or you push her up the stairs to kill her. It's obvious you see what you're doing with your Lee and it's the only way to save Katjaa.
Just lending the game itself to a more muddled state of morality with a reward system that's based along the lines of civil society.
In the second save slot I kill Jolene, Larry, and both brothers.
That's part of the games replay value.
Brenda's death was entirely her own fault, imo. She didn't want to kill Lee or Katjaa, and she kept pleading with Lee to not come any further. Even if you imply that you killed Danny in the barn, she acts the same way. It was her own morality that killed her.
..Coward!
*Smash the mouse button*
Hell yeah!
*Change perspective*
Oh snap the girl saw it.
*Reload game*
As for the my third save slot, Lee is man of very few words.
1 of my version,i did the same thing with u but the second version of mine,i kill them both...:D
Overall i feel that both shld be kill as 2 of my ppl have been kill by them...
havent finished episode 2 yet, theres something not right about this farm, or this family.
that crazy broad, in the woods, tried to warn me & andy (or danny, whatever) shot her in the face. gotta be for a good reason. guessing to keep her from talking?
starting to think this whole episode stinks of "deliverence." except theres also zombies, further adding to the dilemma...& no mentally challenged kids around playin "dueling banjos."
...wonder if duck could keep a tune?
Lee opens the barn door.
Andy: Boy, didn't you hear the bell? Dinnertime.
(Lee just shrugs and walks out silently).
Andy: You know, you're a strange guy, Lee.
Heh.
What goes around, comes around.
I think undead Mark needs a new term... I vote crawler.
Man had no legs!
Because you didnt skewer alive one before her eyes and beat the life out of the other one before someone has to drag you away like a barbarian?
I didnt kill anyone and at the very least I gave them a *chance* which is much less than they had planned for my group. If Clem wasnt there and if the game allowed it, I'd have done some inhumane things to all 3 of them. But she was, and since the fence no longer worked- it's almost a given the 2 brothers will be dead within a few minutes of you leaving the farm. The threat is gone- anything more than that would appear savage (not to me, but maybe to Clem)
So obviously Lee killing the brothers with his own hands is much worse in Clem's eyes than if he just leaves them to fend for themselves against the walkers. Yes, they die either way, but at least the blood isn't on Lee's hands.
The most obvious example of Clem being Lee's conscience is the car at the end of Ep 2. Clem rarely speaks her mind to the whole group, but here she emphatically contradicts their plan to steal from the car. I was all for taking the food until she spoke up so unexpectedly like that. It was like Lee's conscience saying "wait dude, this is wrong."
Shot Andrew after the tussle. I considered it a mercy kill after I broke him by saying his mom and brother were dead. Better than being eaten alive by the Walkers.
Didn't expect to have Clem see me kill Danny though, but after that I couldn't just half ass it. So I killed them both. Not even a single regret.
missed it first time around then capn jay mentioned it and i found it
How do you get the shoot option for Andrew I could only see the kick to the fence or walk away option
To shoot Andy, you must wait until Lilly shoots him/Lee pushes him back so that you have an option to punch his face. If you don't do anything, he starts beating you and Lee throws him at the electric fence. Then you have an option to shoot him.
