Playing Dead Q&A Confirming Possible Lee/Carley Romance?
So a Q&A question from the recent Playing Dead video actually asked the developers if a romance was budding between Lee and Carley.
Their response: "Hm...well, I mean....There's hints and I think some people read into it more than others." "She knows about Lee's past before the Apocalypse...they have a secret and that brings people together sometimes."
I'd like to say this is a confirmation that the romance is possible, but it still has slightly cryptic wrappings based on what was said and how it was said.
So what do you all think this means? Should we take that as a yes?

yeah, i have the internet for porn, i wouldn't really care for a relationship in the middle of a zombie apocalypse (even though the comics have way more sex in it than the tv show) i just dont see how it would fit in in the circumstances that lee is in
Uhh yes, put a girl and a boy in one room for several hours alone and they will have sex eventually its uhh logic.
We're just asking if, considering the situation/mutual respect that both members have for each other, that a possible romance is budding, or is there an option to take it to that level.
It doesn't have to be sexual, it can be subtle hints of love that shows the both of them have feelings for each other. Although, for me, it is a bit hard to imagine.
I see Carley and Lee as comrades, loyal ones. Like what ZombieGoBoom says, it's not an entirely bad thing to make something like that happen. That gives TTG more ideas of pitting the players in situations that make players make hard choices.
Go for a new guy and let Carley die off ? Or save Carley, let the new fellow get chomped to death ? Honestly, I'm being biased, but I seriously think determinant characters in this series makes a whole lot of difference.
And frankly, because they're determinant, I don't think TTG will make them die within within those 5 episodes. They will die, but they'd die off screen, no ?
I know what most people would choose but that would probably devastate Lee in the game.
I would rather have Lee put his fist down a zombies throat than to pick which one of them lives or dies. Then again, this is a survival game and bad things will happen to the people you care for the most. I just hope that they are cautious with how they handle it.
Now this sounds like a good idea! I think that would be a great moment, as it once again puts those moral and ethical issues center stage! Would you put the welfare of the whole group or only someone you love as a priority? Kind of like the situations with Clem but on a different level.
And people, romance does not have to mean automatically getting freaky with a girl or sexual. Sometimes romance can be something as simple as emotional connection and understanding. I cite "Star Wars" in that Leia and Han never needed to have sex onscreen to develop a romance. Even if Lee and Carley never get physical, just having a deeper emotional connection and maybe a kiss would be totally fine as a romance plot.
Carley: Lee it's so sweet of you to volunteer to carry all my useful supplies and my gun into the woods with me and clem but i'm wondering why?
Lee: It's called being Pragmatic.
He he. I thought I saw Lee carrying a Glock in the picture with Christa and Omid.
I'm pretty sure that IS a Glock. Where he got is beyond me. Would Carley let others borrow her gun?
I guess sharing weapons could be a bonding experience, the ZA equivalent of wearing your boyfriend's shirts.
"No, Doug! I don't like the way it makes you act when we share weapons!"
doug seems fine, if a little down and prone to overeating
not sure about his gadgets with the all bells and no whistles on..
