Why are you upset....

....about Carley being murdered in a moment of someone's misplaced rage?

NOTE: This is NOT about why you think OTHER people are upset, nor is it about Doug.... we get it, some people saved Doug instead of Carley on their main file....

For me, it's the fact she was the only character I felt I could trust to watch my back and not screw me over. Who I didn't feel I had to bribe or bargain with.

Though her lack of knowledge of simple things like Batteries worried me.

Plus. she looks darned cool with an eyepatch. Totally needs to be in a pirate game.

On the other hand, Kenny betrayed me in Episode 2, and I felt I had to "bribe" Lilly by trying to save Larry the BetaBully.

Plus there's the little part that she knew something that most of the group didn't know and told you first she knew

I feel the same way about Carley, but nothing changes the fact that she's gone. I have her gun, and I suppose in some small way she is still with us.

She saved Lee's life at least four times- none of the other characters were as steady. If this thing lasts four seasons or more I doubt I will ever forget her.

Two things about her death that I have learned: One, the living are 10x as dangerous as the dead. Two, don't get too attached to the NPC. They will probably die horrible, grisly or pathetically sad deaths like Duck and Katjaa.

That being said, we have to move on. As the Roman philosopher Seneca said, "while there's life, there's hope."

    Save doug!
I hate that they had to kill off Carley and Doug. It's really annoying. but that's how it goes. People die, And stay dead. There were several people saying Carley might be alive...

    I said EPIC FAIL

She saved me, kenny, katja and duck in Ep1 ... saved me also when Clem was being attacked by a zombie, she did not tell anyone that I was a murderer, she would not accept the food offered to her and wanted I stayed with the food, and various other reasons!
Translating ... I totally trust her, she trusted me, and she saved me several times!
    that's why I'm so upset!

Why was it misplaced rage? It seems pretty clear Lilly wasn't a big fan of Carley, Lilly never shot at Doug she aimed for Ben when Carley wasn't there.

Carley was the only one who entirely trusted you. She could handle herself with a gun, and gave you encouraging advice as well as hints of a romance. Her last words were trying to stand up for Lee.

Because, ultimately, her rage was at "losing everything"... the traitor, and Carley by extension, gave her something to focus it on.

Seemed to me she was just looking for someone to blame for that, when in the end it's the ZA that did it.

Had they not been forced out of their "home", I think this might have played out differently. Since this started with an investigation (pre-battle) and turned into a witch hunt (post battle)

you know how catfights go in the ZA, first its about what someone's wearing, then it's missing suppies, next thing you know gunplay erupts

Because I have a hard-on for Lily and I knew it meant the worst for her. :(

Carley was great. She encouraged Lee to come clean about his past and I was able to let people know that Lee was a convicted Killer. They didn't mind as much then.

I did another play with Doug, and I wasn't given that opportunity. So, Lilly blew my cover and people started mistrusting me.
