Why does it take so long?

On PS3 atleast, they have the trophies showing they already have each storyline for chapter and episode fitted. So why does it take so long?

    Just because its all planned out doesnt mean its done.

    The basic plot is planned out, hence all the trophies being there in advance. That doesn't mean all the episodes are finished.
