I'm close to finishing season seven and moving to the eighth, which makes me curious if there'll be more to come?

The series is awesome!

Yeah, it looks like season 9 is already confirmed, and Mischa Collins is already confirmed to return as a regular. I don't want to spoil season 8 for you, but it gets pretty crazy later on, and it really has me wondering how they're going to wrap it up and where they're going with Sam.

I've been trying to get into it but I can't. I'm struggling through Season 2.

It sort of picks up in season 3 and beyond, once it gets past the monster-of-the-week thing and starts developing a stronger overall storyline.

    3 and 4 were great.

I actually completely ignored it while my family watched the first two seasons, then got into it during season 3. I didn't go back and watch the first two seasons until much later. I find can be a lot easier to get into the first two seasons when you know what comes after.

It's a good enough show. Really enjoy the manner in which they make Monster of the Week episodes important later on to the actual story, something the X-Files failed miserably at. Plus of course Season Five is pretty much perfect towards the end.

Season 7 was abysmal though and I haven't watched S8 since the Hitler one.

I recommend watching the show one episode a day, no more no less - I did that last year watching it the first time and it ultimately proved very satisfying with how things built up over time.

I think the show peaked somewhere in seasons 4 and 5 (despite season 5's let down towards the end) but it's still very entertaining and occasionally brilliant.

I haven't watched a single episode. In fact, I'd never even heard of it before I joined tumblr. But everyone seems to be telling me to watch it ( along with game of thrones) Is it on Netflix?

    Not on UK Netflix, no.

You think so? What were your problems with it?
and I haven't watched S8 since the Hitler one.

The very next episode is where things really start to pick up, when
Kevin starts to crack the tablet and discovers the first trial needed to close the gates.
(The spoiler is just the beginning of the episode and is more for people who haven't seen the earlier part of the season.)

Season 7 was pretty cool, I won't spoil anything but that ending was great and unexpected. Season 8 I'm comin'! :p

More supernatural fans :D I just recently got into the show from netflix and I'm hooked. I watched all the seasons available within a few weeks. Cant wait for more. Anyone else feel it was a bit hard to top Season 6? Season 7 felt a bit underwhelming compared to all the high stakes and big names in that season(6).

I was watching The Middle (Season 4 Episode 20) and Bobby was there as the leader of the scouts. His beard has gotten pretty whitey. :p

Even outside Supernatural he's still Bobby. :)

I haven't watched Season 8 yet. Any ideas when it'll be on in the UK?

Even in the 1800s, he's Bobby.

Yep, Jim Beaver is pretty awesome. The reason Bobby can speak Japanese is because Jim Beaver can speak Japanese and they decided to throw it in there.

I find it weird how they have internet always on their laptops, but I suppose they pay a monthly subscription for portable internet anywhere. :p

Magic. The show's called Supernatural, HELLO!

True. I mean, who's to point out the internet connection in a show where BOTH main characters
    have gone to Hell
    at different times.

    The Nazi episode was interesting
but I was expecting to see Hitler at some point, I was disappointed.
    :p

The latest episode of the series was rather light, somewhat uninteresting and not as good as the older episodes.

It's sort of disappointing that it's come to this, and hopefully it'll eventually come to a finale because the show can't go on forever.

Really? I thought the last episode was pretty intense, with the season coming to a head.

Okay, who cast Dan as the Messenger of God?

Was it you? How about you?
