Who do at least once pondered the question: where you can sail on the boat from Georgia? To the Atlantic ocean? To Hawaii?
Dude... Hawaii is on the other side of the United States... You are in Russia, and it probably is easier to get to Hawaii from there(if on east coast that is).
Georgia is adjacent to the Atlantic, and honestly besides other states, there are few islands to go to. I live in Jersey, so I've never been in Georgia, but I know it on the map, and... there isn't much places TO go.
Hey, i didn't want to steal from the station wagon either! Christa is wrong, i would never do the same(but the group overrules my opinion so they do it anyway). Vernon knew we would probably try to flee on the train if he stole the boat, and decided to let us kill ourselves by walking into a herd so he could quietly slip away on the water. The least he could have done was warn us about it in the note after he already took the boat, but he didn't even do that. Maybe i would have forgiven him if he mentioned this tiny little detail, but he didn't and that says to me that he doesn't care about anyone other than his own people. Maybe Kenny, Lilly, Carley, Doug, Katjaa, etc would all do the same, but i would stand against them as well.
My Lee is willing to chop a complete strangers' leg off and patch him up to try and save his life, but Vernon can't even tell the people that helped him get medicine that they're walking into thousands of undead.
First of all, by the time Vernon steals the boat you already realize that the walkers came from the train.
I don't think Vernon thought about taking the boat until after talking to you privately.
The fact of the matter is, people are going to care about themselves and their group over anyone else. You see that even in your own group, and truth is you are forced to as well.
I don't mean to say that Vernon is a GREAT guy or that he should be trusted, but cut the guy some slack. He doesn't deserve to be murdered in his sleep. His act was probably as bad as Ben stealing from the group, which many people didn't seem to care about until it caused Carley, Katjaa, and Duck's deaths. I just don't see what the big deal is. Yeah, he did a bad thing, but truthfully it was also the right thing. If I knew another group had a boat and it was good to go, I'd probably try to steal it too, especially if there is a horde coming. Btw, the horde was our fault, the group signed their own death warrant.

Sorry, for my mistake about Hawaii :(:( But you didn't answer my quastion, is there any sense swim in the empty ocean?

Well I had already said before how it was a stupid plan. If they had the supplies... it would still be bad. The walkers won't just vanish, and honestly it'd be better to have more humans to fight them off. Eventually, people will have to start farming, fishing, hunting, and the like to survive, for canned goods and other preserved foods only last so long. So no, sitting out on a boat somewhere is not smart. I'd rather hole up in a fortified school or maybe an abandoned cemetery than be out in the middle of nowhere.
Yeah....but Kenny is dead. Unless you're thinking Clem is talking to walker Kenny who has no arms and no lower jaw....kinda creepy. But I guess tha would work...sort of...
Now now now, Kiel, do we KNOW, for certain, that everyone's favorite redneck is dead? For all we know, he was hiding a katana in that moustache of his. Perhaps that's his version of Lee's infinite, invisible pockets. Until I see a body, I can't write him off.

Of course! The cemetery is the most suitable place to hide during ZA!

You mean his mustache is the katana? That thing looks sharp

Well of course he's alive! I see him right there next to Capt. Carley on the good ship denial . You know they are waiting for you...best get a move on.
Seriously though...He's KIA. The reason there is no body is because the walker swarm he was under did not leave any scraps left. I told him to forget about the radio but I guess he really felt a connection with Christa who he just met what a day and a half ago and jumped in after her....must have been love at first sight .

I don't like your sarcasm -_- BUT YES, ALL ABOARD!

Or... you know... REDEMPTION. And Kenny wanted to leave the radio too, so he was lost saving a pregnant woman from certain death, quite possibly (but NOT certainly) at the cost of his own life.
And, sir, I'll GLADLY take a ride on that good ship. I just hope First Mate Larry doesn't punch me off of it for what I did in the meat locker...

We do eventually learn that, but we could have been more prepared for the horde if Vernon had said "well it's surrounded by thousands of walkers!" when he asks about it.
I wouldn't kill him or even hurt him because of what he did, but if he came to our people(Christa/Omid/Kenny/Clem) for refuge, it would take a long time for him to earn my trust back. It's different than Ben because Ben's screw-up meant no harm. At first he did it to try to save a friend(which he probably would have tried to bring to the group if they really had him) and then he kept doing it thinking he was keeping the group safe. He was dead wrong, of course, but it's the thought that counts.
Vernon on the other hand, did his bad deed by willingly doing harm to our group. I honestly rank him just behind the St. Johns on my enemy list. They were doing things to support themselves over others, as well...and i let them both live(not that it did them much of a favor).
It's just how i am regarding this stuff. I tried to reason with Jolene, i shot Beatrice, i didn't want to steal from the station wagon, i saved Ben, i tried to save Larry...everyone matters just as much as my own group, and if that attitude gets me killed in the first days during a widespread apocalyptic event(and it probably would)...so be it.
Vernon is not a follower of my signature, so i will not be cutting any slack for him.
Or... you know... REDEMPTION. And Kenny wanted to leave the radio too, so he was lost saving a pregnant woman from certain death, quite possibly (but NOT certainly) at the cost of his own life.

Ha ha First Mate Larry . At least He's finally putting all that charm to good use!
Larry and Kenny have a lot of catching up to do. Have a nice cruise.:D
I can already imagine my look if I found out Kenny was alive for real, and if I am walking the plank with Kenny, then I am dragging Lilly down with us all.

Of course it is. Who in their sane mind would go in there? Not me, but I'm not sane
