400 Days stuck after you die?

Well, I just bought the DLC today and am extremely excited to finish it. However, I just can't finish it since the game doesn't reload to the last checkpoint or let me continue the story since the screen goes blank. Oh and did I mention that my saves from eps 1-5 weren't loading either? so yeah..I don't know why it wasn't autosaving. But so far I've had to replay from the start about 3 times since I keep dying at one point. Any help would be nice. :(

    I'm having the same issues.

When I die I see the "You Are Dead" screen, after choosing continue the screen goes black and never does anything else. The system isn't stuck because I can get to the XMB to quit the game and restart but none of my progress is saved so I have to replay everything.

It's not loading my save game either. When I choose to play 400 Days it asks if it should generate decisions for story that I haven't played yet despite the fact that I have a save on my system from when I played all 5 of the other chapters. In fact, if I choose Yes at this point the game doesn't start, instead it loads the main menu again. If I go through to play 400 Days again it does start, this time without asking about generating decisions.

Playing on PS3. Started with Bonnie.

I'm in the same boat as you marcus. The exact same situation. I'm gonna try to do some tips that I've read up on in these forums so I'll let you know if it works. But just a question, did you download the Walking Dead game digitally or is it on disc? and did you already buy eps 1-5? I have mine digital and I bought 1 through 5.

I have the digital copy with all five chapters.

Sorry, meant to post this earlier. I did get it working. After reading some of the other threads it seems like the issue was that it wasn't reading my save at all. It wasn't even asking me to load when when I choose 'Play' on the main menu. I saw that some suggested re-downloading/installing the game unlock code, however whenever I tried this I would get an error from the PSN (the message was just some error code that didn't mean anything). So I took a chance and deleted the game, downloaded Ep 1 and all of the patches. I was sill getting the error when trying to download the unlock code but if you launch the game and go to the 'Buy' section of the main menu and say that you want to buy the first chapter it brings you to the store (which still looks like the old store) and I was able to download and install the unlock code. After than I downloaded 400 Days again and everything worked. I haven't bothered to download Eps 2-5 again but I imagine that should work fine.

    Good luck.

Nice that you found a way around this. But I'm a little confused on what exactly I have to do. If I read correctly, I should uninstall everything and re-download? I'm gonna try this method and hopefully if it worked with you, it's probably gonna for me as well. Thanks again.

Yeah, that's what I did. Delete the game, re-download Ep 1, the full game unlock, and 400 Days. If you get a error downloading the unlock directly from your download list try downloading it from inside the game.

Just tried it man! And it WORKS! I can't thank you enough, It's saving now and working fine. I went ahead and downloaded the other episodes too. I think the main reason why we were having issues was probably cuz of the unlock code. I was getting that error but like you said, going through the game worked so thanks man.
