What happens to Leland?

edited July 2013 in The Walking Dead
What happens to Leland after Bonnie's story (if he comes with her)? In my playthrough, in the epilogue, Becca said that he let Bonnie run off alone. But he came with me! Or is she talking about another time? I'm kinda confused here...

Leland came with me too, and Becca said that he let her run off. I think it's referring to an incident after the cornfield chase, and Leland is somewhere on his own now, or dead.

Apparently he leaves Bonnie at some point between her story and day 400--whether you lie to him about Dee's death or not. I lied to him, and Becca made a comment along the lines of him leaving Bonnie because of what she said.

I lied to him in one save, told him the truth in another. Becca says something similar in both.

I thought that was an odd gloss over as well.

It seems like a missed opportunity that the relational dynamic of potentially lying or telling the truth about his wife's death results in him vanishing either way.

There is an option for Leland to stay with Dee if you mess up when he finds her on the floor.

Bonnie has to do a mixture of lying and truth telling so he dosn't trust her.. if that happens it shows him dead next to Dee in the credits :(. This is why he isn't there at the end as there is an option for him to be dead.

I do hope he shows up if you managed to save him though just like Nate, Eddie,Justin (Danny is dead if you save him) and the people in Shel's group

Hope he returns, he was such a cool and interesting, conflicting character. It would be better if he turns up again and Bonnie is the PC though.

Justin is dead too(if you save Danny). You can see him as a crawling walker in Russel's story if you decide not to go with Nate. And yeah, I'd really like to see what happened to Leland,Nate and Eddie as well.

I wish depending on your choices the character your with will either be with you at the camp, left, or died.

Vince: Justin leaves the group, Danny causes problems and gets killed (Basically what already happened)
Wyatt: Stay in the car and Eddie is gone, go outside the car and you meet up again and he's in the group.
Russel: Leave Nate and he's gone, stay with Nate and he's in the group at the end (Kinda like a Shane character but little crazier, will cause problems Season 2)
Bonnie: Lie and Leland joins the group, tell the truth and he dies.
Shel: Becca is there no matter what.

That would have been a nice touch.

No I mean if you save Danny everyone the end says he died but if you save Justin they say he left to find a community. I know the one who's foot you shoot dies, that's obvious.

I am pretty sure he is dead if you are truthful, he might be alive since he left if he was lied to.

I told him the truth, and he still left the cornfield with Bonnie.

    Ok, my bad.

How do you get him to go if you are truthful, I am very curious since I told the truth and felt like crap since he seemed like a nice guy, I also wish I did not drive off without Eddie and wish I killed Roberto since I started to like Boyd, I really fucked on the choices this time, so much regret.

Personally, I stayed silent for the first option, as I didn't want to say "I had to do it." Then I just tried to explain that it was an accident when he asked about what happened.

The consequence I'm wary of at this point is the choice of characters not going with Tavia. I had hoped that they would stick together for a meatier season 2 role, but who knows?

I do not feel bad for Russel not going, they all could be walking to there death we don't know, I just feel like a ass for killing Boyd, Leland, and leaving without Eddie, I would have been okay if I went instead of Eddie.

I personally don't get how everyone but one person would not go. In mine Vince was the only one who didn't go, so he'd rather be off alone then go with the group he's been living with for so long?

It's even more weird when he says "we should stick together" and then only he stays behind.

I was always a follower instead of a leader, so I'd go with her even if i was the only one at the camp.
