When is Clementine's Birthday?

New Thread time again! Anyway the Stranger informs us that Clem's "birthday was six days ago" I'm not sure what date Lee died on so just subtract the day by six and bingo Clem's Birthday. I also wanted to find out which episode her birthday was so it had to be recent like episode 3 or 4 but it couldn't be 5. Do you know how many days into the apocalypse Clem's birthday was?

    Let's see. Lee meets Clem on (supposedly) the first week of outbreak. Plus around three months and seemingly week or two before Lee dies. Around 120 days total. Substract 6 days from that and here is your birthday date. My count is rough, without many numbers, which makes her not so reliable. The episode when her birthday happens is the third one, I think.

    I'm guessing it's on the day Duck was bitten/dies.
    Sitting there waiting for the train to be started you get the feeling she really wants to tell Lee something, but doesn't because of Duck.
    She asks for a present though, the notepad.

    Six days would have been a little after Episode 2, great birthday present, you almost get eaten by cannibals.

    I think between between episode 2 and 3. The events of the last three episodes take place over the course of a few days. Looking back, I can't for the life of me work out why Clem wouldn't have told you it was her birthday. Maybe the stranger was lying just to make you feel bad?

    Or maybe she didn't feel it was important. Or maybe they didn't have a calendar at the motel. I, personally, can't tell if it's my birthday unless I've stared at a calendar each day for a week beforehand. Maybe the Stranger had a calendar, or, more likely, he was lying.

    So...how is she still in grade one?

    Also, the stranger can just be bullshitting... though it actually could suggest that Clementine became nine the same day Duck passed away.

    I'm just taking a complete shot in the dark when I say this answer. I think it's November 2nd. Lee died on November 8th. Think about it. When Lee found the second tape that was in the Crawford doctor's pocket, it was dated October 10th. The tape before that said day 82 and that was October 9th. You subtract 82 days from October 9th, making it July 20th to be the day of the initial outbreak. Lee died on day 111, which is November 8th. Subtract 8 by 6 and you get 2, which makes Clementine's birthday on November 2nd.

    I wonder why Clem never mentioned it was her birthday to anybody. Now, she might have forgotten the date, but if that was the case then how did Stranger know? She obviously told him, unless her parents told him because he claimed that he had them with him. Speaking of that, did he kill them or simply leave them with the walkers outside? Too many questions.

    Well my friend, to answer your question: I don't know. We have no clue what year she was born. For all we know, she could have been born in 1994, or 2003. Robert Kirkman himself stated that he doesn't keep track of what year it is. Considering that season one of The Walking Dead came out in 2012, I'll make a safe assumption that it Lee's death date was November 8, 2012, so in the video game universe, my guess on Clementine's full date of birth would be November 2nd, 2003, unless Robert Kirkman confirms what year the apocalypse started. In the video game, 2012 makes more sense to me.

    Xboxplayer_12, next time you play Long Road Ahead, take a close look at the train routes to Savannah. On top of the map, it shows that the map was a map for the years 2003-2006, therefore making 2012 the closest answer. Like what Mr. Kirkman said, he never really kept track of the years in The Walking Dead universe. Considering that the comic was indeed first published in 2003, and Clementine still being 8 on July 20, 2003, her year of birth would be 1994, the same year I was born, so if the outbreak actually started in 2003, Clementine would be turning 20 this year. I'm older than her by nearly four months. All we know is that she was born November 2nd. The year is still unclear.

    Its_That_Guy, I'm not saying that her birthday is in July. That was when the outbreak happened. It happened exactly one week after my birthday. My birthday is July 13th, and the apocalypse started on the 20th. Now that would make a shitty birthday gift for me.

    I think I tried to find out once.

    So, if the outbreak started on July 20th, 2003, it takes Lee and Clementine some while to get to Crawford and this stuff.

    I think it came out (considering it was 2003) that Lee died in early November, 2003 (November 2nd? I don't remember)

    That would put Clem's birthday at the 26th of October. Can't be sure, though.

    But it's mid to late December right now, 2005

    Well, going off Crawford's timetable on the video tapes, day 1 of the ZA was July 20th, 2003 (a Sunday--if you assume that the publishing year for the first TWD issue is the apocalypse year). So saying her birthday is on Halloween is as good a guess as any :D. That or early November maybe, but Halloween sounds more appropriate, considering the story. :)

    The thing about the dates on the Crawford tapes is a good point though, something I considered before when also trying to figure out Clementine's birthday. I would agree it was probably the same day Duck died, as otherwise I don't see why she wouldn't tell Lee. Also to my knowledge we don't have a completely precise timeline of the game's events, as a lot of the time it's vague how much time has passed exactly. But I would say the first few days of November is very likely to be Clementine's birthday. Personally I place it as November 5th.

    Outbreak was at April 2003. Her birthday is around July

    Edit: Wiki did say it started July so her B Day has to be October I guess....
