Should Telltale announce the PC's identity on a special date?

On the 5th of July, the BBC announced the actor who will be playing the twelfth DOCTOR WHO. For anyone here who hasn't seen the British show DOCTOR WHO, don't worry; that's not what I'm going to be talking about.

I was thinking more along the lines of Telltale using a similar strategy with WALKING DEAD, since - let's face it - the identity of the player character for season 2 has been one of the most debated topics in this forum, and the entire fanbase, period. What if Telltale were to announce a specific date for the unveiling of the new PC, so we can at least have a notion of how LONG we'll have to wait? :o

    The next time we're likely going to be given the identity of the PC of season 2 will be with a chock full of news of season 2, such as the first episode name and release date. I don't think Telltale will give us the identity of the PC or the SDCC image everyone is going nuts for by themselves.

    As long as the pc is at least half as good as Lee i'm ok

    I really just hope that it is not Bonnie. I hated having to flirt with a man. *gross*
