I still don't get all this Becca hate. She's not Clem, who is way too mature for her age, or Carl, who is either more bratty than or a plain psycho, depending on the medium. Becca is a fairly balanced character who acts like most kids of her age, being scared but trying to be tough.
Returning to the topic, Clem is probably traumatised, but I won't hate her for becoming like Becca, who is a fairly normal kid. But if she becomes like Carl...

I can understand Clementine becoming a bit more hardened, especially with new people, but I think it'd be a big waste of her character to just have her become another self-serving sociopath.

I didn't hate her either. While I don't see the attitude really fitting Clementine's persona as far as we know her, I still think Becca's personality is reasonable as far as her characterization goes. But Carl? Eeehh....

I'm not saying that Clem will become like Becca, but if it's her or Carl, I'd rather have an extra tag along bratty girl.

Wow , just wow . I just love how people will stop loving Clem if she is going to become like Carl and then everybody will treat her like Kenny and saying that " Clementine needs to DIE ! " .

Of course no, I will love Clementine whatever she would.

And also I don't hate Becca, as unlike many people, why people hate Becca? I can't understand it.
How can one blame the child that she has adapted to the harsh life in ZA? It's just stupid.
And the top of the idiocy of this desire to kill her, I suspect that everybody who write such bullshit, just children.
"Becca irritates me, I want to kill her, doi."
    pfffff

    P.S. Sorry, just boiling.

'Cause she's bitter and hateful and whether she really means it or not, says extremely hurtful things to the people around her for absolutely no reason...I mean I'm not among those who would want to see her die or think that it's impossible for her to become likeable but I don't think I'd find myself saving her over most other people.

And what's so bad about not loving someone after they lose everything that made you love them in the first place? I mean I love Lee as a character but if he just randomly started shooting people or abandoned Clementine to the walkers, I say screw him.

Because not everyone adapts to the harsh life in the zombie apocalypse like she does. Her attitude would be a lot more understandable if Shel and the people around her were also huge jerks to everyone but they're not (well maybe Clive). Shel is super nice and does everything she can to protect Becca's humanity. So I have nothing to attribute Becca's piss poor behavior to other than herself.

I think that I have a slightly different perception of the characters. For example Lilly: Yes, she's a bitch, she killed Carly, but I really love her, because she's very interesting and controversial character. The same applies to Negan from comic book. Negan did horrible things, but goddamn, he's just a cool character, one of the most charismatic and interesting characters. But Lee, I seem, it's boring character, so despite the fact that he is a very good man, no, he's a REAL hero, I was not interested on his character.

There was some intrigue in Lilly's character, the intrigue which was not be in Kenny's character. I don't know how explain more... Anyway in 400 days DLC I found much more, REALLY interesting characters for myself, than in original episodes (Russel, Shel, Becca, Vince, Nate)

I am going to go out on a limb and say you liked Nate Zev?

This with big brass bells on.

Also, I just can't see Clem becoming the one thing I find hardest to stomach in the comics. Negan doesn't unsettle me half as much as Carl does.

    Sure.
If said: " I wish he'd kept away from Clementine Shel and Becca " It's doesn't meant that I don't like him. Nate's interesting, charismatic character. There are a lot of intriguing moments associated with him, in the game. I like it.

Personaly for me, phrase: "I don't like this character in TWD game" means " This character of TWD, don't interested me"

Ah. Okay. Miscommunication. I never meant to say that Becca was a bad or uninteresting character or that I didn’t want her to be a part of the story in Season 2, only that I didn’t like her personality. The same way I didn't like Lilly's, Larry's, or Kenny's personalities. However, I am very much looking forward to seeing Becca interact with Clementine in Season 2. I said before that I think something that was missing from Clementine's characterization in Season 1 was her being confronted with someone who genuinely hated her. Someone who is able to look her over, examine her personality and actions, and come to the conclusion that “I don’t like you.” Becca, being both a fellow kid and a jerkass, is the perfect person to play that role. Of course, that won’t bode well for me liking her very much but I guess we'll both have to deal with that as we go. :D

Yes, I also think that if Becca and Clem meet, Becca will greatly affect the Clementine ( probably in worse side)
BUT who knows? Clementine is a special child I guess, Chuck said that she has a strong spirit...

I thought he said she had a good spirit. She will need shields on full when meeting Becca.

I don't think clem would end up like any of the two. I guess she'll turn like Molly+Carley.

She'll develop fierce personality in that harsh world to survive, but would still remain as a kind and empathic person to some degree.

She was already smart and sweet at only 8 years old. Not many first graders are like her.

She is mentally and emotionally very mature than Duck or even Becca (or even Ben) at that young age, I think she'll grow up as Lee expected, or at least not as a bad person.

I think Clem has greater perception and social intelligence than Becca.

Although both need to work on staying in the house, however, Becca is a repeat offender and a greater risk.

I was hoping during S2 that he'd wander and get lost for good. I'm a terrible person but he was doing my head in.

Anyone ever notice that not only did Clem stay in the house when you told her, but she can also OFF a walker?
  • edited August 2013
Instead of offing one of your own group members, yes I noticed that.

How would Carl know that the walker that was chasing him would end up eating Dale?

And you know what the saddest thing about that whole episode was?

If Carl stayed in the house, none of this would have happened...
