That's not Kenny. He doesn't have Ken's mullet, this dude's is shorter and not as magnificent. His face is shaped differently, too. If anything that's closer to Nate than it is Kenny.
As for Kenny being ALIVE, I certainly hope so. It might make his sacrifice a bit less dramatic, but damnit I want my bro back!

By that I mean their policy of dead is dead. Realism in real life is sometimes far fetched. People who should have died live and people shou… moreld have lived die, look at war for example. What I'm trying to say is that Kenny could be alive and without making his death all ambiguous, they could have just made it clear about his fate.
That actually got me thinking. Christa and Omid seemed like they were looking down into the alley when Lee came back up. Maybe, just maybe the… morey saw Kenny escape after shooting Ben (if he was able to escape) and they were wondering why Kenny ran off. But I don't know, might just be a game flaw.
As Olaus Petrus pointed out. If you ask them to look out, they will say they can't really see anything. Seems like a way to explain why they didn't notice him escape or die.
Yeah. I actually took a break from making walking dead vids until I found out that it may be coming out next week. So I started up again with Kenny's death analyses video.
I saw that vid. Nice one! I agree with the windows thing. As of now i think it still can go either way, but i think him living is a bigger possibility now.

God bless.
He is obviously going to come back as the main antagonist, using scrapped boats to form the MegaBoat, which can be used as a suit to defeat the evil zombambos.
If it was intentional, Kenny is alive and it wasn't just an oversight, then I must say that it's worst writing from TTG so far. Logically they should have seen to the alley and making them "blind" inorder to save a character would be subpar writing and more fitting to serial films of 20s and 30s than to The Walking Dead.
He is obviously going to come back as the main antagonist, using scrapped boats to form the MegaBoat, which can be used as a suit to defeat the evil zombambos.
Unless he turns into some kind of killing machine after he realizes that he must fight and really has nothing left to lose except himself (his sanity).
Lee acted towards him much more friendlier than he should had. What annoyed me about Kenny the most was the moment when he was together with Lee in pharmacy. Kenny would have allowed Lee to die, when the walkers attacked, just because Lee hadn't supported him in everything.
I hope Kenny is dead.. never could see the love for the character, I thought he was an asshole.
Whenever I had the chance, I sided with Lilly because she was always right. Kenny only cared about himself and his family - selfish!
Kenny should die in the city. They can't bring him back without contridicting the very strong and different views fans have of him. At least the fans agree when it comes to caring about Clementine even though they are split on the idea of her role in season two. If they have to do anything with Kenny it should just be an extended death scene where he sacrifices himself in a way that helps Clementine escape the city. Kenny surviving seems more possible than Clementine surviving alone even they I believed he died. The ending was a lot darker for many of us, and the after credit scene didn't help after I thouht it had ended and already had a horrible ending burned into my mind. A lot of players didn't see any possible way for Clem to survive and that is a much darker and unsatisfying ending. I know it wasn't meant to be that dark but a lot of players had that experience.
I think it was suppose to be more balanced when it comes to the fate of Kenny as well, but I don't think it was something that was ever intended to be answered one way or another. Most assumed he died anyway the first time they experienced it. He obviously wants to sacrifice himself for a greater purpose that would make up for his mistakes. It would have made a lot more sense for him to die helping Clementine escape the city though. I see him as a man who had reached a point where he had lost his fear because he was so damaged and eager to die in a way that makes up for his past mistakes.
One of the more emotional parts of the game to me is the gauntlet because it doesn't come off as an out of place action scene where Lee becomes a super hero to me, but as a depressing act of desperation that shows how bad the situation is at that point. I think it's realistic for a person to lose much of their fear and take any risk for a person they care when there is no other option. Most would probably die but that's the best option when you have nothing else. The way Lee screams during that scene added a lot to the feeling. It really kills the moment if Lee dies during it though lol.
Kenny seemed like he would push forward toward the hotel before trying to escape if he somehow got the chance. Not out of some cliched bravery but because that's all there was left to do. He as desperate as Lee and I don't think they feared dying although Lee was a lot more focused and seemed too eager to die with purpose which I didn't really like since he was essential in my head if there was any chance of success. He only comes out of his drunken depression because he replaces his family with Lee and Clementine because he needs someone to feel like he has a reason to live, but he talks like a man trying to make things right before dies. He bonded with Lee and Clementine by enduring horrible events with them. He wasn't going to be developing any new relationships after that in my opinion. It would have been as pointless as Lee surviving alone if Clem died. I never seriously thought of Christa and Omid be able to survive which might have been extreme, but they seemed so weak. Since Lee was dying I felt Kenny was the only person who would sacrifice anything to protect her. I knew they were trying to make Christa and Omid the perfect parents for Clem, but it seemed way too premature thinking about the way they got along with Clementine when the odds looked bad for anyone getting out of the city. Christa already had a crippled childlike boyfriend who seemed more likely to get people killed
than help.
I disliked Christa and Omid from the start, but I hated Christa by the end and blamed her for everyone dying for nothing. I told her to leave the walkie which she ignores by jumping down to get it and then she smarts off about getting her out when try talk to her. I wasn't in the mood for anyone new by the end of episode 3 and that didn't change. All the previous events and characters felt like distant memories as well for some reason. I had even given up on Kenny at the start of episode 4 even though he hadn't crossed the line and left me to die which would have ruined him for me.
I hope Kenny is dead.. never could see the love for the character, I thought he was an asshole.
Whenever I had the chance, I sided with Lilly because she was always right. Kenny only cared about himself and his family - selfish!
But how could Kenny die in the city if he shows up in the new season? I remember reading something that stated that Season 2 begins several months after Season 1, and Clem won't be going back to Savannah anytime soon. Or ever, probably. This seems to give more weight to the possibility of him being alive. Personally, though I'm a huge Kenny fan and want him to be alive, and disagree that any appearance he makes should be a death scene. What I do agree with, is that he shouldn't be a significant part of the story or a main character in the new season. If he shows up, I'd like for him to help Clem and whoever else is with her out, a little like Vernon did in Episode 4 where he's part of his own group, or by himself, but needs to cooperate with Clem and her group, if she has one, so they can both achieve similar goals. During which, he could talk about his time with Clem and Lee (with differing lines depending on Lee's relationship with him). At the end of the Episode, assuming he made it, he and his crew can part ways with Clem and we never see him again. Bringing him back again just to kill him immediately seems like a waste of a potentially great callback to Season 1 and Lee, from the only person who knew him for nearly as long as Clem.
They could just give details of the what happened. The friendship that developed between Lee and Kenny was the best experiences I have had in fiction. After the bite bit I immediatly started losing hope and hid it, and tried to go alone when Kenny stepped up and made of the most unexpected and meaningful comments in the game. It created a sudden emotional response and came at such a hopeless time that was so inspiring I regained a significant amount of hope that he would be able to to take care of Clementine.
Then Lee starts passing out and looking so bad I knew he wasn't going to make it all the way out of the city. At first I thought we might have time get out of city before dying in a place that was safe for the moment with clementine and Kenny with Lee. After that my goal was just to get them together before I died even if they weren't out of danger. Then Christa jumps in that damn hole for the walkie even though there isn't enough time, and the hole is obviosly too deep to just get out of. If Omid acted anything like a man he would have went in for her regardless of his leg, but he just telling Lee and Kenny to do something. He would watch her die before he doing anything. I made the choice to go in after him even though it seemed suicidal because of how important he felt to saving Clementine. It doesn't let you though.
Lee had no time left by that point. Christa and Omid didn't have Lee and Kenny to order around anymore, Who's going to get Omid his medicine, or get Christa out of a rooms she gets stuck in? Who's going to sacrifice themselves to save her life after making stupid choices that are poinless? I don't know how they are getting off the roof, and if they found Clem she would be ordered around to care of Omid. I kept going and died with Clem crying saying she can't do it, and responds by saying "but I'm little", which was so depressing because it how young innocent she is, and she can't understand. It was impossible to have hope after already feeling so hopeless, and then seeing her as a normal scarred little girl even more than before. She's telling Lee she can't do it. It was too dark to feel satisfiying, but Kenny shouldn't have died sacrificing himself for anyone but Clementine or trying to get to her with Lee. If mould have made more sense if you could have told Kenny you wanted him to take care of Clementine instead of Christa and Omid lol. I would expect him to reassure Lee which would have given more confidence he would have stayed track and tryed to get to get to her even though her. Dying while trying to fight his way through the guantlet would have meant a lot mre even if it didn't save a life iife or change the ending.

He's alive, stupid. Ran off, got rid of his godlike mustache and eventually got a new job as the magic mirror Dan Akroyd provided him. Unfortunately won't be in season 2.

While his fate was left ambiguous, the situation was such that he would need deus ex machina to survive. Sure TTG can bail him out from that s… moreituation, but personally I think that it would be a cheap trick and make the whole situation less meaningful. But everyone is entitled to his/her own opinon and I'm certain that there are plenty of people who would be happy if he survived, no matter how.

I feel like he could be alive but a bigger part of me thinks he's not since Kat and duck already died maybe we felt like he had nothing to live for...

Until we receive official conformation, I'd take nothing as certain.

No confirmation, yet. But several months have passed, and i wouldn't be surprised if he got a hair cut.
Perhaps, but it is cooler this way if he shows up either dead or alive in season 2.
God bless
I don't think he did since he gave that speech.
God bless
Sup man. Haven't seen you around for awhile!
I know it's been debated, but I haven't seen it properly analyzed which is why I made this vid.
God bless.
True, but maybe they did that so if Kenny did escape Christa and Omid couldn't see.
Actually Christa and Omid say they couldn't really see anything all the more reason why Kenny may have escaped and no one noticed.
God bless
As Olaus Petrus pointed out. If you ask them to look out, they will say they can't really see anything. Seems like a way to explain why they didn't notice him escape or die.

I'm glad she kept Lee's picture from the drugstore though.
God bless.
True, but I really think a good sequel needs to have a balance of new people and old people to be successful.

Okay...source?
It sure does.
They will make a DLC about how he escaped, I'm sure of it.
God bless everyone.
