Do you wish Snow next to you until the end of the Series?

edited October 2013 in The Wolf Among Us

When the first time I saw Snow I wish she was always beside Bigby until the end of the series and they find out who is the killer... But everything are f***ed up. She died at the end of Episode 1. I wish TellTale Games bring back Snow White at next episode or other episodes because this series have some Fairytale and make sense she could be alive or under a black magic something..

  • Does anyone know if you can save Snow? I think she needs to be in the game as your companion, as they made her a character that you can get along with and a character Bigby likes. In answer to this post I do wish Snow to be with me until the end of the series.

Nope - her beheading is part of the story and can't be changed.

And yes, I too wish we'd gotten to spend more time with Snow. I wasn't sure about her at first, but I warmed up to her pretty quickly, which is an extremely poor choice of words given her name but hey ho.

  • Hell yeah i wanna see her again, but hell i really doubt we are gonna see her again

  • I like what Telltale does.

With Snows death they set a statement: that nothing is going to be predictable,
and that the outcome of this story will depend on the player alone.

This is excellent, because I don't like playing prequels to a story that I know the end of.
I'm all for this alternate storyline set in the same universe.

And yes, Snow was great but I mourned Faith a lot more than her.
I liked the dynamic between her and Bigby because both of them are flawed characters.

Snow was a bit too perfect for my taste.

    :)

  • Well, there are several reasons Snow White is alive. 1st, this game is prequel to comics where she is alive and well. 2nd, Snow White special power in comis is her Immortality: being from Fairy Tale well know by all people she is impossible to kill.

So yeah, I think we will see more of Snow White in next episode(s).

    Double post, sorry.

    No.

I liked her, but she's dead.
I don't like the "we can resurrect anyone so death has no real meaning" trend.

  • I'd love to see Snow besides Bigby the whole game , feeling her presence besides you is very nice.
However , I like that Telltale did something very unpredictable. That's pretty much the first word that comes in my mind when I hear "Telltale" - unpredictable , immersive storytelling and tension ! :D

  • Not till the 4rth or 5th episode, that if she ever comes back lol.

If you bring her back ill not only buy other episodes ill buy whole games what i will be like to give you much more to create some thing new.But realy please
And i know what ill buy this game + i like poker night.I like poker myself.

    Patience...

  • Semi-large spoilers from the comic ahoy!

One of the big things in the comic is that the more well-known a character was from the Fables, the tougher and more resilient they are. This helps to explain why characters like the Woodsman can survive an axe to the head - he's a well-known character.

So it's possible they will use the fact that Snow White is a pretty damn well-known character as a way of having her recover from this. She survived a gunshot to the head, after all (even if she did spend 7 weeks in a coma)!

    So yeah, that's my theory.

  • You know I don't actually have any input on the game, right? I'm just a community moderator, I don't work for Telltale.

That said... see my post on the next page.

  • well for those who read the comics , its obvious what will happen..

i dont mind dont having snow all the time in the game , but i want keep playing with bigby in every season they make for this.

he is the type of character that i love .

  • I'm afraid that's rather impossible.

  • Snow & Bigby OTP

  • Working off of Darth Marsden's theory... So also comic spoilers, I guess.

I'm going to restate my own theory that Snow's head is still alive and Bigby will be carrying it in his inventory for the remaining four episodes. So if I am correct she will in fact be with you for the rest of the game and everyone will be happy, yes?

  • I remember thinking something similar about Carley from The Walking Dead, but she died. I'm pretty sure that Snow's going to come back through some crazy plot twist, though, only because The Wolf Among Us is supposed to take place before Fables, which shows her alive. I look forward to finding out what Telltale is setting up here.

  • Im more interested in meeting the other characters.

  • Agreed, she was too good to be true. Her going down hits hard. I think it invokes "that side of you" where you don't want to think rational you just want to kill. But will you?.... dun dun duuuuunnn

Great work telltale, what a way to get a series started

  • They spent alot of time setting up the obvious attraction to just kill of an obviously important character, sooo hanging out for episode 2.

I think Faith and Snow are alive, somebody is fooling with BigB and Fabletown.

  • I wish you were right, but decapitation is still something very serious. No wonder it was the only way for Immortals to die in Highlander...
This Doctor Swineheart better be a miracle maker

  • I really hope they actually go with the cliche thing and have bigby revive her with a kiss or something
i know this sounds like the cringiest shit an 11 year old might say but fuck i miss snow

  • The keyword in this entire thread is "prequel".

  • edited October 2013

Soooo, in a Romanian fairy tale called The Story of Harap-Alb, the hero named Harap-Alb was resurrected even if he was decapitated. How? Well, the daughter of the Red King used vines from sweet apples (I guess that's a precise translation for those magical fruits). So there might be a chance.

  • Snow is totally coming back, as several people have already said, this story is meant as a prequel to the comics in which she is alive and well.
And also look at the name of the second episode, "Episode 2: Smoke and Mirrors"
I've seen other people make this theory but it was not until I saw the name of the next episode that I started to believe it. They are both alive, Snow and Faith. I already said the reasoning behind Snows return and now Faiths'.
When you talk to the mirror after learning Faiths identity you have the option to ask to see her, her husband, and her father. When you ask for her husband you see what appears to be a dead body and her dad you see a corpse (skeletal arm coming out of what looks like a swamp or something). However when you ask to see Faith, the mirror says it cannot see her, his words: "through powerful magic her whereabouts concealed. Unfortunately for you, these lips are sealed." The mirror then says that the "these lips are sealed" part was not his words, that it's "just the way it has to be.
These are the same words used by Faith both times she is ask who she works for. Someone put a spell on her to protect their identity from being found and the spell is still on her "body" (though I still believe she is alive).
And now with Snows' death set up the same exact way obviously the same person has taken her too.
But as Episode 2 states, this is all just "Smoke and Mirrors"

  • Considering this is set before the comics, Snow White will be fine. All Bigby has to do I'd find her body

  • There is a theory that they have gone the alternate history with the game and its a way of distancing themselves from having to stick 100% to the comics. Though as 6stringed pointed out there is reason to think one if not both are still alive, or will be.

  • But theory I scored incorrect, both TellTale and Vertigo have said the game is in continuity with the Fables comic. So it is not an alternate history, they clearly respect the source material.

Plus Snow White is pretty much immortal.

  • I hope so, knowing that their deaths are fakes isn't as emotionally powerful as real deaths.

  • Telltale, you evil geniuses... So evil, but yet so smart... But seriously, why? Why would you just kill people like that? When I saw that she died I felt a spike through my heart, and it hurts... D';

  • That's actually why :P. so you feel and mourn and get into the story of the game. . . make u feel despair after loses and until the ending, it will build up more emotions for a very beautiful end. . . muahahahahahaah >:)

  • It has already been established that Fables are hard to kill, especially popular ones like Snow White. This is a prequel, so we know she will survive and she has come back from the dead before.

And coming back would not make that last scene in episode one any less emotional. Especially since Bigby still need to find Snow's body.
