For removing the undesired extra white background, layer masks anyone? I have little to no Photoshop (R) experience, just what I've found myself.
I use GIMP, though I would assume the functions like this are about the same. I'm probably wrong, but here's how to do it in GIMP. Go to Layers-Transparencies-Add Alpha Channel. Then select what you want to get rid of, and press delete (not backspace, delete). Then it'll be a transparency, and the ugly white stuff will be gone.

I was just confused about what he meant by ugly white stuff. In my few photo-chops, I haven't had any reason to mask anything. I cop out with layer blending!
For those of you who want to make awesome boxart, but don't have a good program and/or won't spend money: http://www.gimp.org. It's what I use, and it's certainly less convoluted than Photoshop (judging by the demo I used; I couldn't make heads or tails of it).
Count me in, I like its simplicity and awesomeness. It would be totally Strong Bad-esque if someone saw that in the store and bought it because of the "concept art" itself.
Who needs fancy schmancy programs when you can turn out stuff like that?
I think Maybe they could make a DS adaption, that uses touching, like point and click
The Japanese could have it on the newish DSi, in DSiWare. Only out in japan currently, Maybe even design us some new seasons speculation boxart for all the different platforms, even with 2 extra episodes storylines in the handhelds with 2 of them fused, than the console and computer.

What? No. No. No. I mean, no. Never. No. What? No. I only talk about GIMP so much because it's the best program ever, and everyone should download it! NOW! It's free-ee!

Truer words have yet to be Spoke Anne.
Look out, man. I saw this thing flying around with only one eye and a horn. Looked kinda hungry. His name was Pete.

Remember, be respectful. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
I use the most awesomest combination of programs to edit pixxures: Paint and Photoshop!
I'd be lost without Paint.

Best one yet.

I likes it, especially the back cover.
If it weren't for the little bit of blur issue with Strong Bad and the Strong Badia fence, I'd have to say that's the best yet.
Edit: Awww.... Screw it, that's the best one so far.
