Tell Tale Games should allow us to view all our choices we made as a movie...
I heard many fans say that for The Walking Dead and Wolf Among us they should have a watch your choices you made in game as a movie. What I mean is for different save files there should be a replay your adventure as a movie without the options in there. We could get entertainment off that. Eat popcorn while watching everything you did in your adventure. This would probably be future update if they went with this... I would most certainly love watching everything I did in my story. I know right
Like one of them Previously on The Walking Dead cinematics, but our choices overall at the end of the season?
This would be cool indeed, like Fallout do giving us an overview of what we did in our adventure.
Yh that would be very cool indeed
I would like this, too, and hopefully there'd no audio/visual stutters that those "Previously" cinematics had for me. I remember wishing Bioware had a movie playback option for Mass Effect, as well.
Thanks guys if we can spread the word about this idea perhaps TTG's will listen because I know they read all our forums
That's a cool idea... And that is what exactly I am thinking right now...
I would rather play the game
Playing the game would pretty much be THE prerequisite to use this feature.
great idea!! If season 1 had this feature I would literally be watching right now, simply because i'm bored but too lazy to actually play lol.
This is a great idea, but it would only make sense to activate this feature after completing the final episode of the season.
Definitely something i'm waiting for
Why is that? I don't thin there's anything wrong with single episodes.
Especially if it shows all the times that you goof or mess up(Not the ones where you die).
Well if this feature were to be implemented to single episodes then it just would not have the full effect of a movie. You also would be playing the episode in the same essence as if you are playing the game again ie. by individuality, which you suggested.
hint hint TT... patch this feature in for season 1 and for season 2 after season 2 is over
you've been found!!! I know old news...
It wouldn't be necessary - anytime you mess up in some way, the film could just skip over that and show what happened 'for real'. You don't think McClane did everything he managed without a couple of reloads?
No, this would be a great idea if all episodes were tied together for one film. Play the game, put everything aside for a year or so and then pull it out and watch it as a film to relive it all. And, invite a couple of friends over for it as a 'producer's screening' or something.
This just about sums up my predicament haha.
I just don't feel like walking around looking at objects, but it would be cool to watch a movie of my past choices right now.
I don't like this idea. I don't remember everything I did in Season 1; a lot of the minor things have faded from memory and I feel it might be the same for Clementine in Season 2. I think a whole part of the immersion for me in Season 2 will be that neither Clementine nor the player remember absolutely everything that has happened, just the things that we think are important.
Or even let us choose our previous main choices from Season 1 because they always randomize your choice if you didn't play it.
Now that I could get behind. But it'd ruin Season One imo.
Just jumping into the thread.
On the topic,I think I have actually read somewhere that before Episode 1 opening scene, our choices from S1 actually will be shown. Not sure when, but I know I have it read somewhere.
elaborate? How would watching your playthrough ruin season 1? And either way if it was just an option someone could choose not to watch it.
I'm curious though why you think that. Maybe there's something that i'm not thinking about that would make a gameplay move not a great idea, but the only thing I can think of is that the "exploration" parts could potentially be somewhat boring if done from 1st person perspective.
EDIT: nevermind. I misread what you meant.
Fucking Genius, That Would Be So Awesome.. : )
That would be awesome. Then you could watch it with other people like a movie
Personally I think that sounds mind-numbingly boring. But if you want to do this, a lot of people have "let's plays" out on youtube, and I'm sure you could find one that suited you.
Or you could record your own while you played, then edit it down. If that sounds boring to do and watch... it's because it would be.
Why don't you replay the game again and make every decision the same? Is it too much trouble to hit a button every few minutes?
yes... because then it wouldn't be a movie. And besides its much more than "a button every few minutes."
